Raijin
[Legendary Foolish Brothers]

#N-338

Review Date: 07.22.08

Average Card Rating

Constructed: 2.50
Limited: 3.00

Ratings are based on a 1 to 5 scale.
1 being the worst.
3 = average.
5 is the highest rating.

Beastly Mage

Raijin

Like yesterday's card, this guy belongs in his own deck. Sure he can go to 9/0 - 5/0 when Fujin is out, but is it worth it? With so many decks packing a Sannin or Satoosa or two, you'll probably find yourself losing fights the same way Fujin and Raijin lost IQ points.

Ratings:

Limited: 2/5
Constructed: 2/5
Art: Same as yesterday!/5 ^_^

Raijin
7/0 3/0
Lightning
Turn 4 1 Cost
Leaf/Prisoner/Male/Fool/Mental -3

The same guy as yesterday, except lightning element instead.  Now instead of copying and pasting yesterday's review, I can take the time to talk about cards that help these guys, like Absent Minded Brothers, which turns the mental of every ninja to 0.  This stops mental problems for a while, and makes these guys a tad more playable.  Not a whole lot more, but more nonetheless.

Constructed: 2.5/5

Limited: 4/5

Today's card is the other guy, who's head doesn't look as much like a potato as yesterday's. Here's a copypasta of yesterday's review :D

Raijin's a turn 4 Ninja with 1 hand cost- something fairly new. He has shockingly high stats that can rival and beat most turn 6. Powering up with the other isiot isn't as good as it sounds, because you'd have to mix Wind with Lighting. As far as I know, that's not the best combination.

And now the downside: Raijin only has a 3 when he's injured, which is likely not a good thing. He makes a Lightning Deck's defense against mental even worse, since he has a NEGATIVE Mental Power value. Also, his effects are Valid, and the second one is: "If your opponent has a Sannin or Satoosa (which everyone's gonna have), this card is total crap and you are so screwed. Good luck. Do you see now why you shouldn't have played this card?"

Since he's so good, yet so, so terrible, I'd have to dump this on him:

3/5

Art: It could be worse. He could be part potato.

Fun Fact: No copypasta, no art, no Final Destination. Final Destination.
