Beastly Mage

Kakashi Hatake

[Anbu Days] is the Animal Mill deck's new best friend. Why? Let's look at the effect: When you put him in play (either by deployment or growth or whatever) you look for up to two Ninja Dogs in your chakra and discard piles and put them in play. Nice, right? On top of that when you put him in the same team as one or more Ninja Dogs he gets +1/+1 for each Ninja Dog he's with. Let's say you join him with Kuromaru and Akamaru. He's gonna go from 5/2 to 7/4 (in a normal situation), plus whatever he gets from the dogs' support stats. On top of that he's got 3 mental, Sharingan, and no hand cost. In an Animal deck, he's a Godsend.

Ratings:

Limited: 3/5
Constructed: 4/5 (Animal Deck)

Well, we finally got an ANBU Kakashi. I have no idea what its like, though. Let's see. The picture's nothing better than what I would have expected (poop crap in a box). Turn 4 is pretty good. Let's see, Jonin and MP:3 are VERY good things to have. The stats are nothing but average, though. Let's see, deploy him and you get two more Ninja Dogs that died! So far, I'm loving this Kakashman. Oh, SWEET! Kakashi gets +1 for every Ninja dog! That means you could have a total of... Wait a second... Even if there is a Ninja dog in his team, it still only makes him as strong as a normal Kakashi, and the effect isn't even Valid.

Eh, I guess this is pretty much a letdown. It'd really not be as useful as a normal Kakashi.

3/5. Even in a Ninja Dog Deck, he's not worth running more than one copy. The other 2 should just be normal Kakashis.

Art: 3/5. Nothing special.

Fun Fact: “Kakashi” means Scarecrow in Japanese.
