Blade
Today's card is the Super Rare Lightning Blade. Back
in the day this was a pretty good card. Nowadays,
people are running Chidori over this one. Why?
Character-specific techniques are kinda hard to play
unless there's more than just a pump-up to it. The
starter deck Lightning Blade (which doesn't pump up,
but can either give damage or discard an opponent's
ninja) can be considered better than this card.

The
First Hokage
Lightning Blade
This Jutsu from Path to Hokage used to be played a
lot prior to the release of Chidori and its amazing
effect. For 1 Fire and 1 of any chakra your Kakashi
will get +7/0 combine that with say an Early
Settlement Kakashi, and you're getting battle
rewards on top of a more than likely outstanding
victory against your opponents ninja. Regardless,
this card hasn't seen much play in a while since
Chidori has Sasuke and Kakashi that both can use it,
while Lightning Blade only has Kakashi.

Constructed: 2.75 Chidori beats it
Limited: 3.75/5 Just Pull a Common Kakashi and
you're set.

Lightning Blade
I don't know why this card is anyone's top 10
favourite, the other lightning blade with a coin
flip is much better than this. A giant boost really
doesn't help in my opinion, and the other one could
take out a standby ninja or another ninja that isn't
battling against Kakashi. Use the other one.

Lightning Blade SUCKS. If
you're gonna use one, use the one from the Curse of
the Sand Starters. Well, it doesn't syck, this
version of it, but it's outclassed by better
choices. However, it would work SLIGHTLY in a Fire/X
Deck.
