Beastly Mage

Naruto Uzumaki [Pure Anger]

This is a pretty good version of Naruto. OK, so he's a turn-2 rather than turn-0 (or at least turn-1). Thing is that he's got 2/0 - 5/0, Clone Status, AND Growth. Now, on to his effect. When he's facing a Sound Ninja while healthy, his healthy combat stats become the same as his injured stats. Good sidedecking material when facing Sound decks, but also good for Lightning. Try it and see.

YES!!! The new Naruto is finally here! As a turn 2, he has 2/0 and 5/0, which is a pretty good step up from the original. Sure, Control of Power can beat him, but at the cost of 12 cards!

This Naruto was made to be used against Sound Decks. I think it’s a good Sideboard card for a Recyclegan Deck, since he still has Growth and Clone Status. Oh well. If he’s injured on turn 3, which is the earliest, he’ll be tied with Jirobo – although Jirobo can at least because a chump blocker if he gets hurt. Naruto, not so much. He’ll be dead.

I REALLY don’t like how Naruto is only strong when he’s injured. One small TAP will kill him. That’s why Sasuke is so much better than him.

Next Time: He’s a cold hearted snake! Look into his eyes – uh-oh! He’s been tellin lies!

N-256 Naruto Uzumaki [Pure Anger]

Ah, the angst spills forward in today's version of Naruto Uzumaki. Great stats for a turn 2, growth, clone status. This naruto is very cool. The only reason it hasn't seen a lot of play in high decks is there are just better Naruto. Most people will rely on the turn 0 versions of Naruto like [Control of Power] and [One Last Attack].

For constructed this card loses out to turn 0 versions of Naruto. It's biggest draw back is his need to be in injured status to be most effective, a flaw that will probably plague Naruto Uzumaki for his entire life. This card does offer a loophole against Sound Ninjas which makes him a little better than most. It has potential as a splash, but chances are you're going to have a better version with a 0 entrance cost.

Limited this is an good card to pull. Solid stats and no requirement make it an easy addition to most styles of limited tournaments.

Wyatt Naruto Uzumaki N-256. A turn 2 Naruto?!?! Can it be? Yeah. Both Naruto and Sasuke are growing, and this is being reflected in the card game. Besides their special power versions, Naruto and Sasuke also received a turn 2 version each. We're looking at the Naruto. He's turn 2, 2/0,5/0, Leaf/Male/Genin/Clone Status/Growth. Good stats for a turn 2, and what is especially nice is the growth and clone status, so this Naruto can use Rasengan and other Naruto jutsus, which is nice, since he's already somewhat strong, and with them he'll be great. Also, when your opponent has a Sound ninja in play, his healthy stats become the same as his injured, so if your opponent has say, Yoroi out, this guy's a 5/0,5/0. Not bad. He has competition in your deck with some of his turn 0, and some turn 1 versions, mainly COP and OLA. Also, if you're going to choose not to play any early Narutos(or try out 1 late turn one), then SP might be better. Yes, without Final Valley he's a 5 entrance cost, but for a 4/0,6/0 that can't be touched by Ninjas or Jutsus.

Constructed:3.5/5(He's good, but there are arguably better Narutos that come out earlier, or 1 that comes out later)
Limited:4.5/5(great stats, semi-early, and this set has plenty of Sound ninja).

Welcome!

Today's card is an interesting and unique; however it's another Naruto Uzumaki. He's turn 2 this time, and comes with a healthy 2/0. When he's injured he gets a 5/0, EXCELLENT for a turn 2.

His effect is great; when your opponent has at least 1 sound ninja in play his healthy status becomes 5/0, awesome effect against water decks, or even splashed water supporters. Tayuya/Sakon anyone?

However, with Sexy Gaara still flyin around the meta, this card most likley won't see any play. I'd rather use a turn 0 naruto, because usually my 2 spots are filled with Gaara/Neji.

I forgot to mention, he has clone status and growth; he'd be playable if Gaara was gone.

Limited: 4/5
Constructed: 2/5
