Konohamaru Ninja Squad

This card allows you to counter Shikamaru (US Formation) quite nicely. These three buggers together protect the head Ninja in the team from any Ninja effect, so that also applies to plenty of Ninjas. The effect is valid, which is good, since when the squad is injured they actually get a decent amount of support. They also have a nice little Jutsu that we'll see later.

As we move on, we hit another lightning preview card, The Konohamaru Ninja Squad!

This card was one of the first that BanDai previewed that was part of the whole Garra-Shika-Cho hatred movement. I personally like this card. It's valid, even has two support while injured. Not only that, but it's got 1 mental power, and lightning needs all the mental help it can get. I personally see this card being fun when you run Suicidal Action with it, to pop them for 1 damage and give yourself a +2 bonus in the process. Aside from that, they have a rather funny jutsu for tomorrow, while maybe not competitive, still entertaining. Run this in a wind deck, and you can still use Sakura's Decision on it to draw one card if you need it. All in all, a well rounded lightning card.

School for me starts today, which is lame, but I'll live through it.

Today we look at Konohamaru [Ninja Squad].It's a turn 0 Lightning featuring Konohamaru, Moegi, and Udon. So this guy has a lot of potential against the likes of CHoji and Gaara since they don't get affected by him. However, they are only a 0/0 healthy, but they do have a 0/2 support while injured. I really don't know what else I can say about them. They also possess 1 mental power as well. It's not a bad card just not too amazing in my opinion.

Overall, I don't see this card doing that well. In sealed play, however, he's got more of a shot to succeed.
