Beastly Mage

Kabuto Yakushi

Another day, another card from the next set. Once again, we have a turn-2 Kabuto. The stats are pretty good for a turn-2 Ninja, but not great combat-wise. On top of that he's got no rank. The effect is what gets you. Deck cycling is good, particularly when combined with Sakura ADP. If you manage to keep this guy healthy for a few turns he'll make your hand look a whole lot better if needed. Try it and see.

Ratings:

Limited: Starter/5
Constructed: 4/5
Art: 5/5 (Hey, I'm a Kabuto fan)

Wyatt Kabuto Yakushi (Information Sources). Surprising that we get a new Kabuto that is turn 2 and not Jonin. But it has a good effect. At the end of the turn you can reveal the top card of your deck and put it in your hand, then place a card in your hand at the bottom of your deck. Very nice for getting your hand exactly the way you want it.

Constructed:4/5(2 mental and good all around stats, too bad it isn't valid.)
Limited:5/5(Starter deck draft, he's gold.)

Welcome Pojoers! Today's card of the day is one of the new Starter Exclusives, Kabuto.

People on the bandai forums have many thoughts of this card, being broken or just being a good card. My opinion, it is no where NEAR broken.

It's at the end of your turn, you're giving up 1 card (usually one you can't use) to draw 1 random card. It's good to an extent, but there's no reason to call it broke. It also has no reason to be splashed in any deck.

Broken...phff...that makes me laugh

Limited: 4/5 turn 2!
Constructed: 3/5
