Naruto Vs Sasuke

Well well, this is an interesting card. Seperate all of your genins for one-on-one fights, and the strongest ones face off. Some of the Narutos and Sasukes out there love this; also, they don't take damage, so Rasengan is fair game. If you win all three, you get 6 battle rewards and draw 3 cards; that's a pretty potent effect. You can even have three of them in your deck; this is even more fuel for the genin swarm deck. At least, I'm assuming that it's two battle rewards and a card per Victory/Outstanding Victory; if not, you could still just send out your strongest genin, and your opponent would have to counter with theirs. If they weren't expecting it, they might have used their genin as chump blockers. This is a crazy card.

Naruto vs Sasuke (pr018)

Welcome to another week of reviews. Today's card is the promo card Naruto vs Sasuke. This card is great for Genin swarm decks. Since only Genin ninjas can be sent out to battle for the turn, you can imagine just how much you can do during that turn. On top of that, no ninjas can receive any damage during the turn plus you win two battle rewards and draw a card if you have a victory or outstanding victory. Problem is that sometimes, mid-game, you won't have that many Genins out unless you deck is dedicated to them. You just have to try and see.

Naruto VS Sasuke...Definitely a very fun and sought after card. Lightning doesn't have many quality missions but this one has an awesome effect. Lightning isn't really Tempo's main element, but if you have a very aggro deck with powerful Genins (or ways to win battles) then dropping this mission can gaurentee you a TON of advantage. It's definitely the kind of card you have to design your deck around a little bit; if you're running Ino, Sakura ADP, and Choji as 0 drops, and Shikamaru and Hinata as 1 drops, you really aren't going to be winning a lot of battles. (Or, you're going to be wasting a lot of cards to pay for Jutsus...)
If you are playing things like Naruto Uzumaki [Control of Power] Sasuke Uchiha [Beyond the Limits] or Gaara [Overflowing Madness] then you have a pretty good chance to get some BRs and draw some cards.
I wouldn't call it a tier 1 deck type...because the top 8 at the Sannin was mainly fire as usual...But it's still a solid card that can win you games if you pilot it right. (See JDragon's article "Bloom Twice" on playtcg for an example...)

Overall:
Constructed: 4/5
Limited: Promo/5

Naruto vs Sasuke

Today, we are looking at the promo card Naruto vs Sasuke. It's a Lightning turn 4 mission card that might have some potential. The effect says to take both player's Genin Ninjas away from their current team. Only Genin ninjas can only be sent out to battle. And during the showdown, no ninjas can receive damage, and if you win a victory or outstanding victory, you win 2 Battle Rewards and draw a card. It's not a bad card, and has a lot of promise.
Lightning gets more support. It'll be a drag to get since it's a Promo, but it has a nice effect. Nothing much else really to say about it as I have never used it before, so I can not vouch for it.

My ratings:

Constructed: 4/5

Limited: Promo/5
