Wait... today's card doesn't have Mental? o.0

Today we're reviewing Asuma-Sensei's Genin Rush helper version. When one of your all-Genin teams is defeated, you draw a card. Pretty good, but is it worth it? It really all depends on what sort of Genin Rush deck you're running. I mean, a Jonin that comes out at turn 4 (3 with Konohamaru) with no hand cost, with 5 Combat, and a decent effect always helps. Try it and see.

He's got decent healthy stats, a good head ninja that can take 2 by himself. The effect is nice to have, if your opponent surprises one of your genin with a Jutsu or something you get a card, or if you need to, you can attack with genins into obvious defeats and draw a card, though I would only suggest this if you have enough ninjas to block with after one of your ninjas gets pwned. He has been seeing a lot of play lately because cards like Ino greatly weaken the benefits of Support ninjas like Kurenai and Inoichi, and he also can help you get your Asuma/Shikamaru platoon into play. All in all, he's a great card that I would play in constructed and limited above most other 4 drops.

In order to conclude Smokin' Male Emo Sissy Week (x2) I'll be reviewing Asuma Saratobi [BBQ]. He's OK for turn 4 stat-wise, though Kakashi's better. I expected more from the 3rd's son. Yes, ZOMG spoilers. ZOMG! A SPOILER AHEAD--Will Kuranai's unborn son of his be as pathetic as his soontobedead dad?----

Anyway, if Asuma's effect goes off, you're doing bad. If you do good, he will not. Just for that

Next Time: Tomorrow is Saturday. I'll be getting paid if you expect me to make a review on Saturday!!!

Okay, today's card is Asuma Sarutobi, which I think is slightly better than reliable comrade. He is turn 4 and needs no hand cost unlike reliable comrade. He has okay stats, and now lets look at his effect. If a team with only genin ninja is sent out to attack, and they are defeated completely defeated, or draw, you get to draw a card. Plus it is valid.
Now let us look at his effect more closely. One thing is that by turn 4, will you have a team with only genin ninjas. It also only works if they are sent out to attack and not when they block. His stats are good for a turn 4 ninja, but he is earth, the least supported element so it might not see much play. A pro is that is it is valid, but if you use it I am not so sure about it. Try it in an earth deck.

Until next time!
