Beastly Mage

Kidomaru [State 1]

Hey guys. After almost three weeks worth of vacation, I'm finally back. I became a Meijin during this time, although I didn't get to go to any release events. :(

Anyways, on to the review.

Kidomaru is a Super Rare?! OK, his stats are pretty good for a turn 3 Ninja. Plus, he's got growth. If you don't growth deploy him, just discard two Chakras to place a coin on him. Not bad, particularly in limited. Also, he's pretty good in a Sound Ninja deck, which could see some play with this set. Who knows.

Ratings:

Limited: 3/5
Constructed: 3/5

Okay, here we reviewing a nice card. He is just a turn 4 and he has godly stats. Even if he was a turn five he would be good. The effect is not much of a drawback . He still has 5/2 when injured. So what if he is played injured, he's still good. If you have a Kabuto or an Orochimaru you can heal him, but you would need a sound deck for the greatest chance of that. You could also heal him with senbon or something else. In healthy, he is the same as kakashi. Very good.

My ratings:

Constructed: 4
Limited: 3.5

Today's the Sound Four/Five week. God I hate them. Can you BELIEVE Sakkon is a BOY!?!?!?! Today's Happy Hoppin' Mexic-Themed Sound Four Ninja Card is your Not-Friendly Not-Naybarhood Kinda-Spiderman, Kidomaru!!!!!
He's a VERY solid turn 3 Ninja. Already at 4/2 AND Growth! Injured is OK too, with 2/2 at. Pay 2 Chakra to give him a Growth Coin. That's niiice. Aside from being in the obvious Sound-Four deck, he could be in some superspecialawesome Water-Chakra deck or even a normal Chakra-Building Deck.
In fact, I'll be doing an article on that! Um.... If I ever remember

4/5
6/5 (Yes. He's just that awesome.)

For all of the Four Sound Ninja:

They take too long to play (if you play all in a row, you won't get the last out until turn 6, and then you'll get run over by Jonins) and I see little point to their effects. Two Chakra for a +1/+1 wasn't great last time I checked. And I don't believe any jutsu in the set has anything to do with them all having growth; if I missed something, I apologize.

Constructed/Limited: 1.5/5
