Sakura's Decision

Hmm... draw cards are good. There are several kunoichi with two to three mental power you can use this with, so if you run a wind deck with a couple appropriate ninja, or especially a mental deck, run this for extra chakra and draw power. Overshadowed by One Morning, but respectable in its own right.

Sakura's Decision
Mission-Wind
Turn Cost 2

Target: 1 of your healthy Female Ninjas

Effect: Injure the target, then draw cards equal to the target's Mental Power.

Super Rare

Here we look at a very interesting mission that would've been great to use in a lot of Mental decks were it not an expensive Super Rare.

Sakura's decision is obviously best used with any of the numerous Sakura cards with Mental Power 3. This also works well with Hisame [Smartest Ninja in the Rain Village], making a Water/Wind Mental deck an excellent choice for this Mission. Drawing 3 cards just for injuring a ninja is great card advantage. I'd say if are fortunate enough to have a couple copies of this card, give it a go.

Today is Tuesday, and Tuesday, we review Sakura's Decision, one of the best card drawing engines in the game currently. Sakura's Decision is a Wind Mission that is playable at Turn 3 and although you have to injure a Female ninja in order to use it but you get to draw cards equal to that ninja's Mental Power. This card is best if you run Female ninjas, especially Sakura herself as she and Hisame(one of those Waterfall ninjas in CoS) have the highest Mental Power for female ninjas. There are a lot of card drawing elements in Naruto particularly in Wind and Sakura's Decision is the best Wind has, although I dare say it ranks behind the hand replenishment power of He Who Entrusts and Inherits the Will. If you run Wind and own these, this card makes running Sakuras worth it. If you don't run Female ninjas with Mental Power or have no Female ninjas at all, then just run Inner Sakura instead(or whatever's your preference).

Limited:2/5(It depends on drawing a Female ninja with Mental Power, which you may not do in Limited).

Constructed:3/5(it's better when you can run more Female ninjas especially Sakura).

Beastly Mage

CotD for 3-27-07

Beastly Mage here again. Today's card is an interesting one: Sakura's Decision. While injuring your ninja is not always a good thing, if she (yes, it has to be a female) has plenty of mental power (eg: Sakura, Hisame), you can draw 3 cards in a snap. In a Kunoichi deck this can be a good card.

Ratings:
Constructed: 3/5
Limited: 2/5
