Hi again, everyone! I just came back from a 12-day long trip to Italy. Very fun. I have a lot of homework to do before leaving for Hawaii on Friday (mum's got a movie job there, so free trips for me) so reviews will be short.

Hizashi Hyuga

Um... I guess you can sacrifice him to stop at most your opponent winning 6 battle rewards from three direct attacks late game, so he's pretty good at what he does. Shame he's not valid, but he has decent injured stats, so it's not too bad.

On the other hand, he can't use any jonin jutsu, as it would seem this guy never passed ninja-ing 101 and has no rank. A strong ninja with Byakugan is good for the deck, but there's still not enough support to make that a tier 1 decktype. No mental power is also a minus.

Bottom line is, you're sacrificing a ninja just to delay the inevitable.

Limited and Constructed: 2/5

Hizashi Hyuga

Today's card is some more much needed earth support.

His good points is that he has Byakugan, which is great. He is level 4 with 5/0 healthy 4/0 injured, which is quite good. His effect could by you that vital turn to make a comeback.

However his effect is not valid so if he does get injured you lose your stall. Also he does not have a ninja rank so he cannot use any Jutsu cards that require e.g. Jonin to work.

My advice is that it is worth playing in an earth / Byakugan deck. Its that bit extra support and you might really need to use his effect to by you some time. Experiment with it.

Constructed: 3.75/5 (earth / Byakugan)
Limited: 4/5
Art: 2.5/5 (ok for Neji’s dad)

I should have the curse of the sand spoiler list finished before the end of the week.

Hizashi Hyuga
Leaf/Male/Byakugan/Earth
Entrance Cost: 4
Hand cost: 0
Combat/Support: 5/0, 4/0 injured
You can discard this Ninja during your opponent's turn to keep him from winning any Battle Rewards during the turn.

Hello, Naruto fans! This is Michael Berman here, checking in after a veeeerrrry long time for another run with the COTD crew. Last time I was writing COTDs was for the sadly-forgotten DBZ/GT crew. *sad violin plays* Anyway, I am stretching my muscles for the Naruto CCG as of recently, so here I go!

Hizashi Hyuga is one of the several Hyuga cards released recently. He sports a power that is about par for the course for a 4-drop, yet his utter lack of Support is annoying, forcing him to lead the pack no matter what. Unfortunately, it seems that this leader is a self-sacrificing one. Keeping yourself from losing any battle rewards against a huge army can be nice, but how exactly will you be faring next turn when you just tossed a ninja away for no improved board position? Poor Hizashi. Another thing getting this guy down is the fact that he is not a Jonin and he is not of the Main Branch, keeping him from using the interesting Curse Seal Jutsu and its counterpart to automatically injure ninjas. To sum things up, this guy gives it a good try, but the effect would have been better on a Genin or another early-turn ninja. Time for the ratings!

Constructed: 2/5 (OK if you need another decent Byakugan user)
Limited: 3/5: Can be nice to give you that one last turn needed/keeps a decent power curve)
