3 ... average. 5 is the highest rating.

Desperate Forbidden Jutsu

I wouldn't waste my mission on this. +3/+3 for two turns, then the ninja is discarded. This is lightning, and lightning specializes in getting lots and lots of chakra for big jutsus; rather than this, just use a jutsu if you're going to run attack boosters.

You'd have to be desperate.

Limited/Constructed: 1.5/5

Beastly Mage

Desperate Forbidden Jutsu (M-US002)

Happy Wednesday! Today's card is called Desperate Forbidden Jutsu... but it's really a mission... ??? OK, enough of that. This card, for a couple of turns will increase both combat and support of one Ninja by 3. I can see a few combos with this card, particularly in a Taijutsu deck. Problem is that when the effect runs out the Ninja is discarded, so use it wisely.

Eh, one of your dudes gets a pump for 2 rounds, then it dies. If your opponent doesn't just Freedori your new and improved ninja, he/she will chump block it until your ninja dies, or give you a few BRs while building up ninja advantage.
Plus it wastes spots that could be used for better missions. (Then again Lightning doesn't have a lot of quality missions to choose from...)

In limited they can't really afford to give you BRs, but you can't really afford to lose a ninja. It's risky here, but if you've hit more drops than your opponent, it will put the game even more in your favor. Still it's very conditional.

Desperate Forbidden Jutsu

Today, after our long break, we are looking at the Eternal Rivalry rare card called Desperate Forbidden Jutsu. It's a permanent mission that last for 2 turns that allows 1 ninja to get +3/+3, however, when the card is removed from play, you kill the target. It's not a bad card, but it's definitely not good to lose a ninja. If you're in trouble, I guess it might be worth it, but there are other cards out there that would help. I am not a huge fan of using a lot of mission cards either, so don't expect to see this card being used very often. It's a lightning card, which is nice since lightning can use all the help it can get. So to recap, don't use this card, killing a ninja early game can be bad. If your deck is solid enough you should pack enough power in order to win. Just my thoughts. :)

My ratings:

Constructed: 2/5... I don't like it.

Limited: 4/5... I had to use it during my release and it helped a lot.

Hello All!!! Glad to see you all are continuing to read the CotD's. Today I will be reviewing the mission Desperate Forbidden Jutsu. This card is a turn 3 that grants an amazing +3/+3 to any ninja its attached to for two turns. But with this boost of strength there is one price.... after the second turn its attached to that ninja, it is discarded. It isn't that bad a card if you like to run Jonin's Intervention. Overall I like this one.

Constructed 3/5
Limited 4/5
Art...... AMAZING 5/5
