The Future of Naruto

 Now that the card game has hit its fourth set with Revenge and Rebirth, it seems that the card game will be around for a long time. The card game has caught on for players who are a fan of the Naruto anime and for those who simply like card games as well, and for those of us who have watched Naruto past the American episodes, the cards that are coming up for the future will be pretty exciting. This article is a bit of a sneak peak at Naruto to come, possibly for the next few sets.

Fans of the show who have elected to watch the Japanese ones (I myself am on episode 107) will see some of their favorite characters come out to play in a whole new way. We'll start with new ninjas first, and we'll talk out what that'll mean for Naruto. The next set will feature a ninja that Fire users have waited for, Itachi Uchiha. Not only is he another Sharingan Eye user, he'll have incredible stats and access to some powerful jutsus based on his Mankegyou(forgive me if I spelled wrong) Sharingan Eye. Fire will get at least one more Kakashi and Sasuke as well next set, too. We missed Jiraiya in the last set, but another Jiraiya should be in the next set and possibly the one after with will also include the third Sannin Tsunade. Expect to see more Naruto as well and possibly a Naruto who can use Rasengan for free like the version of Sasuke who can use Chidori for free. Water will get another Kabuto, another Orochimaru and Kisame, Itachi's Akatsuki buddy. My hope is that Tsunade is an Earth ninja, as is her attendent Shizune, but they'll be either Wind or Earth(most female ninja are either Earth or Wind) so if you like the idea of a Kunoichi deck, you'll have some beef to it. You're likely to see another Guy, Asuma and Kurenai as well.

Justu-wise the new sets in the future will have Itachi's Mankegyou Sharingan, Tuskiyomi and possibly Amaterasu. Lightning will see Rasengan, though it could possibly be Wind as well. Water will get some Kabuto-based Jutsus and Earth some of Tsunade's and Shizune's Jutsus(hopefully they'll be Earth). They're should also be a new Summoning Jutsu as well for the three new summoned creatures, the new(hopefully) Gamabunta, Manba and Katsui the slug. Hopefully, they'll make just one Summoning Jutsu and not three to avoid confusion among those that will start into the game around that time.

Lastly are missions and the missions will have a few centered around the Sannin and possibly Naruto training to use Rasengan. Maybe a few will come out around the journey to find Tsunade. After the journey to find Tsunade, my hopes are that Bandai doesn't forget the episode that revolves around Kakashi's mask(it's hilarious by the way) and the side story around Ibiki Morino's brother Idate(I just finished watching it). Beyond that, expect to see more of the Sound Four and the Sand ninja returning. The Sound actually will have a fifth companion(you know who he is already if you watch the Japanese episodes and I won't spoil it for those just following the American version). Also expect to see you favorite Genin slightly more powerful, especially Naruto. That's it for me.
