Episode #122 - Back to Battle City 1

As the aircraft arrives at Kaiba Corp. Island, everyone makes their usual promises. They enter the duel tower, and find four doors. Each duelist goes through one and they all wind up in dueling elevators. Roland explains that this is a four way duel. The first two duelists to lose their lifepoints will face off in the semifinal rounds, and the same with the other two. As each duelist loses lifepoints, they climb higher in the tower. Roland then has each of them pick a card, the strength of which will determine the order

of turns. In order: Kaiba with Desgardius (presumably taken from Lumis), Marik with Lekunga, Yugi with Feral Imp, and Joey with Swordsman of Landstar. Kaiba plans to wipe out Marik and Joey, so he can duel Yugi in the

semifinals. He sets up a few cards, followed by Marik, then Yugi. Joey makes

a poor play with no monsters. However, Yugi defends him as Kaiba tries to attack. Yugi vows to always protect his friend, because they are a team.
