Beastly Mage

Madara Uchiha

Remember yesterday's card? That one can help this guy out. Madara can't be blocked by Ninjas with even one -1/-1 coin. His stats are also devastating for a turn 6 Jonin. He's got Sharingan, as well. Note that he has the Tobi Name Characteristic, though that won't be much of a problem. Even though he's Akatsuki, he does have the downside (at least for the new Akatsuki decks) is that he doesn't have Void. He's purely Fire, so he'd go better in an Uchiha deck. He's a Super Rare, and I'm guessing he's gonna be a pain to get. Still pretty good, as long as you can get those coins in the right places.

DIMHWT

When fire was announced to have a -1/-1 theme for set 21, myself (and a few other people) were less than excited, then when we got a look at todays card, madara uchiha.

Madara has (as well as not name: tobi, meaning a 47 card deck is still an option while playing madara) a solid 7/3 5/3 stats, an effect that allows him to pass by any ninja with a -1/-1 coin on his way to the opposing village. He holds ambush, genjutsu, sharingan eye and rogue ninja (all good things to have)

Fire-your turn 6 for the coin decks. the real appeal is to bypass blockers and hydro pump/tsukuyomi helpless opponents.

Madara has no range, he is played in one deck type. but his effect makes that theme an intresting deck to explore.

Limited: 1/5 (BOOOO!!!! oh wait, you got a sr, whatever right?)

Fire-4/5
Art: 3/5 (poor bad guy pose, to be honest)

I'm DIMHWT, and this was the naruto COTD, see you tomorrow....
