Deck Garage - October 30, 3006
Hi,
and welcome to my village academy. I create this section to
let players to be aware of different deck types out in
tournament. Decks feature here should not be copy because
personally I am not the best player, and my fixes are flawed
like any other. I will do my best though. I’ll start this
section with a new favorite in our new format, Fire/wind
decks. This is a sample deck, submitted by PURE Guts
The
main point of this deck is to rush until there no tomorrow,
which fits fire/wind theme quite well. however some cards
are really misplaced, especially when there such nice
selections to choose from the new set. here's some examples.
Gekkou Hayate [judgement]: he is consider the new
haku, sadly enough, with him having the same stats and all.
the effect, even if it's not as good, is quite useful.
Clearly a much more perferable choice than anbus.
Sakura [kinochi pride]: i lower this one because you
would want to limit the amount of this you draw in the
beginning. being only a 1 support, she is much weaker than
the traditional temari. it's obvious who will win when they
face off, each with a sasuke [aoc]. her effect is great, but
it might hurt more than help.
Fog Clone Jutsu: a much more powerful version than
Disguise Jutus [Coils]. sure there is a requiremnt a
genjutus, but with kakashi and kurenai, it should be great
late games. and if you ahve a great breakthrough as well,
and you play both, you basically win the game.
Pet Tora: being an old card loses some of his
likeness. the truth is this card will help more ways than
one. even better in early games.
Gekkou Hayate [plan]: a lone avenger basically. he
can counter instant missions, thus stopping cards like pass
permit, or even one morning.
Kabuto [withdrawal]: same as gekkou, only for
permanent missions.
Lions Barrage: potential 3 damage for only 2? i say
it's worth the gamble. you really only need to get 2 heads
to make the card worth it to play.
Lighting Blade (Curse of the Sand): see COTD...
That's all the new cards that i would consider putting in.
with any luck, this deck should be competitive. I
personally haven’t tested it out, but that’s the deck
owner’s responsibility. This concludes my first deck. You
too can have your deck feature.
If
you have a type of deck that is not already featured in this
section, you’re welcome to e-mail me at
hokutenknite@gmail.com. Follow the deck format like the
one featured today, and some purpose in how the deck runs,
or some of its tricks. I’ll see what I can do, and post it
up for everyone to glace at.
