Ron is from a very old Wizarding family, and all of his family have been in the Gryffindor house at Hogwart's! Ron's family has nine members, Ron, his brother's Charlie, Bill, Percy, Fred and George, his sister Ginny, his mother Molly and his father Arthur. Two of his brothers, Charlie and Bill, are living on there own in different area's. Ron's family is very poor, and Ron usually gets all of his clothing second hand.

Ron is Harry's best friend and has a Owl which Harry's Godfather, Sirius Black, gave to him. The Owl's called Pigwidgeon, which he call's Pig for short.
