A lecture by Lockhart is surprisingly easy to sit through. Sure, you have to keep reaffirming how wonderful he is, but that's really a small price to pay to avoid 3 damage a turn. Only a nitwit would ever solve this adventure, given that it's harmless as long as you keep your focus on the game, and the reward is greatly outweighed by the cost of solution. In my opinion, this is the worst card in the Chamber of Secrets set. Nonetheless, I expect to see it played by a lot of folks who are more interested in annoying their opponents than they are in winning games.

Enraged

This card is rather silly but it is fun to play and it might just surprise you how often some people don’t remember to say this. Downside is that there is no real point to solving this card unless you are EXTREMELY absent minded so it is uh... a waste of two actions. I only give it a so high rating because it is fun to play not for actual worth.

There is nothing I love more then listening to myself speak. Its true, and now you too can enjoy this event my attending one of my lectures. Now I know most people do not like Lectures, but I can this my loyal fans, my lectures will not be without fun and excitement and of course suspense. Everyone will be on the edge of their seats waiting to hear what I discuss next. Now normally I would be charging for these Lectures but since I am teaching you kids this year, these Lectures are free. You can not find a better bargain anywhere, I guarantee you. Now what's Brilliant! about this card is that your opponent doesn't feel threatened by it, cause if he says Brilliant! after they play a spell, then they are in the clear. If they don't, they take 3 damage. So either way you're looking to hurt them or be told you're Brilliant! This just sounds like a win win situation for me. Unfortunately most of those other fickle will say that this card isn't useful and I say, who are you going to trust? :)

The first card I expected to be WotC's Customer Services worst nightmare. :P They did end up saying that you do have to give your opponent a reasonable amount of time to respond, so unless you're playing against a flat out idiot, this adventure is just wasted space that your opponent will never solve.

This is quite simply a fun card. And the solve and reward are great for you! If they want to get rid of it they put themselves at dire risk as you would get 6 actions the following turn. If you have your deck set up right you should be able to make the game breaking plays now. I suggest tossing popcorn at your opponent if you have this card in play. Play the kazoo. Tell them jokes. Keep a conversation going. Distract them as much as you can!!!!!!!!!!!! Probably not a serious card, but definitely a lot of fun. I give it 5 out of 5 on the fun value, but for competitive play, it simply gets a
