Red Angered Search – Dragon Ball GT Lost Episodes Saga Rare - #136 Combat – Event - Backer

Power: Ability. Search your opponent's Life Deck for a Dragon Ball and play it under his or her control. No one can use its effects for this turn. Your next Red Style attack this Combat is Focused.

To tell you the honest truth I don’t see much use in this card outside of a few limited ones, and those IMO aren’t really worth it.

You can try to use this in a Blazing Deck, allowing you to steal your opponent’s Dragon Balls with ease. If you don’t have many Balls out you might as well take your opponent’s right? Problem. First off, you can’t even use the power if you steal it this turn. Second off, what if your opponent doesn’t even play Dragon Balls… whoops, useless.

Making a Red style attack focused will help steal that Ball with a bit more ease, but in all honestly isn’t really worth it. As a backer, it is not recommended since this is very situational. You could attempt to run this in a Sensei and bust out your opponent’s key Dragon Balls for you to take the following turn, but that’s about it.

Or you can be evil to a Ball deck and search out a Ball, then The True Face of Evil or HUH??? it away. That though won’t be easy to pull off.

Your call. It could be interesting to try, but even the ability text won’t help it.

Expanded: 1.3 out of 5.0 (maybe to insta HUH???)
Focused: 1.5 out of 5.0 (Blazing?)
Sealed: 1.0 out of 5.0 (yeah right)

This is an interesting card for Red Blazing decks. Use it to grab a ball from your opponent that you dont want him to use first, like a board sweeper or a drawing power and increase your own damage in the process. You could also use the ball later on with either Black Star 7 or Pan lvl 5's power.
If you use this as a backer you can pull every ball out of your opponents deck in the first seven combats. If you cant get the ball under your control though you just helped your opponent instead. :|
