Power: Put the bottom 4 cards of your Discard Pile at the bottom of your Life Deck.

Ahh, an ally that regenerates. This is a big key to the current environment, and I can see him popping up in ally decks and even regular decks, except Supreme West Kai variations.

Hero ally was lacking in good regeneration options outside of using SWK as a MP and Kid Trunks, Teenager/Pan, Granddaughter of Goku as allies. Dende brings a whole new twist. Ally decks thrive on regeneration of key cards because they run a whole lot of single cards, many which are vital to how the deck works. Sure Dende doesnít get to pick the cards, but getting 4 cards period can really help. Kid Trunks, Dende, and Oolong can easily combo up 10 cards to regen per combat, which helps Earthís Spirit Bomb decks.

Focused decks will embrace him, seeing many are ally and could easily use the extra life. They can just Circle of Power if they need to ever level instead, but thatís only an option.

I donít see him as an MP anytime soon because regenerating 4 cards isnít a game breaking card power. So keep him as an ally and a good ally at that.

Expanded: 4.5 out of 5.0 (regeneration in an ally is a big key and can change a lot of games)

Focused: 4.7 out of 5.0 (with allies all over, this one is a twist which will definitely boost hero ally options)

Sealed: 4.9 out of 5.0 (sealed + allies = good, especially one with a good power. Only problem is if you are a villain)

Dende Guardian Level 1:

Ally, yay.  He regens four, tops out decently for an ally, and has 16 stages to sacrifice.  He does his job.  The problem is, I cannot really see an Expanded ally deck running him, but I am also not current on what exactly an Expanded ally deck runs.  In Focused, he's better, as allies are bigger in such a limited (two-set) enviroment, and there is little regen not named Uub.  He can be the difference in timed wins, if it comes down to that.

Sealed same as focused, maybe a bit better.
