Victorious – Score T16 2001 Worlds
Uber Rare – SZ2
Energy Combat

Power: Stops an energy attack. Raise your anger 1 level. Lower your opponent's anger 2 levels.

This card used to be good. Ok, it used to be decent. Now it just looks pretty.

Back in the day, when it was released at Worlds and T16 Regionals 2003, it was still somewhat useful because there was only one freestyle or Red energy block that gave anger, and that was the whimpy Gohan’s Energy Defense. Thus, this was a great upgrade, and this card was run in many anger decks because of that.

Now Red has Red Energy Defensive Stance, and we have cards like Energy Ricochet and Goku’s Flight. Goodbye Victorious, may you rest in peace.

I even see people cutting this card up and taking out the cool picture to use as a scouter or something like that. Shows you how a card so simple in concept can be good because of the other options, but a common and uncommon that are better options can easily take its place. Rarity isn’t everything you know.

So now, outside of the fact that it is pretty and has seven stars… yeah, that’s about it.

Standard: 1.5 out of 5.0 (better options out there) Tuff Enuff: 1.3 out of 5.0 (ditto, especially seeing anger isn’t as important here)
Sealed: N/A

 Victorious, #SZ2

Power: Stops an energy attack. Raise your anger 1 level. Lower your opponent's anger 2 levels.

This Uber Rare is right up there with the totally awesome Gotenks Uber Rares (Note the sarcasm).
Seriously, this card is terrible for how it was released. The top cut at worlds 2001 got this card, and then the top cut at regionals the next season got it. It was the first Uber Rare I ever got, but I never use it. Cards like Energy Ricochet are much better. I guess it might see some action in an anger deck, but I certainly don't suggest it.

Standard - 1.75

Sealed Deck - N/A (doesn't come in packs)
KingBroly  Standard: 2/5
Tuff Enuff: 2/5

WHAT!? The ORIGINAL 7-star card, much like the Saiyan saga, except not with the cool text like "Create an energy shield to stop an energy attack to increase your anger 1 and lower a foe's anger 2". Well, it was good when it came out because we really didn't have many energy attack stops in the game, but we have more now. The only good thing about it is to show your opponent you have it, or for a Foiled deck if you earn it.
