Non-Combat: Setup

Power: Attach this card to a Non-Combat or Ally. While attached, no player may use the attached card.

Interesting card, but nothing I’d jump up for joy over. Basically this looks like a mini Caught Off Guard Drill that is possibly usable in focused, but nails allies and nons instead. Sure that could be a bit useful in shutting off an ally, but wouldn’t it be simpler to just remove or discard the said card instead?

Granted it could be useful in turning off Orange Focusing Drill, then scooping all your opponent’s drills, but running this card just to do that is a waste in my opinion. You’re better off just running more drill removal. Setup removal isn’t extremely common in Focused, but there are much better options than this. Not to mention that if your opponent busts non-combat removal on you, you’ve just wasted this card.

Um yeah… there’s not much to say. In Expanded and you’re a hero, use COGD. Otherwise, run non-combat and ally removal, because that’s obviously the way to go.

Expanded: 1.1 out of 5.0 (not very useful with other removal options)
Focused: 1.4 out of 5.0 (not very useful but less removal options)
Sealed: N/A
