Cell Level 1 – GT Super 17 Saga
Common - #20
Personality

Power: Energy attack doing 8 life cards of damage. Costs 3 power stages to perform. Your attacks from Cell Named cards do +3 life cards for the rest of Combat.

Wow. What a solid ally. Doesn’t get too much better than this when you’re talking about solid damage.

Cell was a terrible ally back in the day, but that’s all changed. Not only that, he’s not that bad to run as an MP either seeing his HT 1 faded away for the most part due to base damage being next to nothing.
Let’s see… two physicals for +3 or big energy for 11 and giving all your Cell Named cards +3 life… now you can go either way with Cell…

The Cell Named cards effect won’t be too great unless you’re attempting to abuse the new Red Cell Named cards in Focused, or playing Cell Freestyle or something. Either way, Cell is named himself so the attack gets bumped to 11 life. No other ally gets that much damage in for the cost of 3 stages from what I recall.

There are a bunch of Cell Named cards in Super 17 Saga so be sure to try them out anyway. Red Cell isn’t that terrible of an archtype, even though you’ll normally be going for DB.

To top it off, Cell has an amazingly high power level at level 1 with a nice PUR, so you can’t go too wrong.

Expanded: 4.1 out of 5.0 (amazing ally, overall upgrade for Cell decks, definitely useful)
Focused: 4.2 out of 5.0 (amazing ally and could work as MP)
Sealed: 5.0 out of 5.0 (ally = good)

Cell lvl 1-

Expanded- This level is a toss up between this lvl 1 and the lvl 1 HT which has 2 physical attacks. In something like Cell Saiyan Supreme I would run this to possibly chain with Ki Push or just in general because an energy may be more useful than 2 physicals in some cases. 3/5

Focused- Cell Red Blazing seems to be the only deck that can take advantage of this secondary effect, but that effect isnt really great anyway. +3 life ends up being 1 in focused with the heavy endurance and theres so few cell named attacks the damage will not make a significant difference. This, however, is your only choice so if youre making a Cell deck you have to use it. 3/5 for being the only choice, if not a great one.

KingBroly Cell (Lv.1) - Super 17 Saga
Max Power: 4,700,000 PUR: 4
Power: [Energy [8] () ]
3: Your attacks from Cell named cards do +3 life cards for the rest of combat.

Wow. Just wow. An Energy attack for 11 life, costing 3 stages. This attack is up there with the Cell Lv.1-HT for what Level to start at. I personally like the other one better (Physical for +3 twice), but this one is up there. Not only does it do 11 life, but adds +3 to your other Cell named attacks as well!
If your playing a Villain ally deck, use this card, because its just that good! 11 life, being cheap allows for a Z Warriors Gather attack off the get-go, and allows for some hefty damage.
Focused doesn't really have many low level powerful attacks, but this is one of them! 11 life is very very good in any deck, especially Focused.
Expanded: 3.5/5
Focused: 3.5/5
