Personality

Power: (If your MP is Trunks, Bulla, or Vegeta, Bulma does not have to take control of Combat to use this power.) Stop an energy attack.

Score finally created the counterpart for Chi-Chi. Bulma is amazing as an ally, and in my opinion, should be run in every Vegeta and Trunks deck as an ally pretty much. Just like Chi-Chi for that matter.

The only problem is Trunks generally has his energy defense if you’re playing the standard HT 1, Scientific 2, Super Saiyan 3, Powerful 4. Still regardless, Bulma allows you stop a critical energy if it is thrown at you. Ones like Goku’s Blinding Strike come to mind, noting that most Trunks decks that run a similar MP set to the one mentioned don’t run very much energy defense.

Vegeta, on the other hand, should try out Bulma. There’s not much more annoying than a guaranteed block each turn. People know the infamous Goku 1 WGS South Kai for Chi-Chi in Blue CS decks of course…

Trunks should run Bulma in many other variations, like Sword with Weaponmaster. South Kai can easily give you a lot of options early game to stall quick beatdown. Bulma is just amazing in that sense.

As an MP, well Bulma is Bulma. I personally wouldn’t try it; Trunks is a much better option with is super anti-energy powers. I mean you could be kamikaze and somehow Top 8 Portland with it (you know who you are -_-), but outside of going first, Trunks is the man to go with.

Overall, Bulma’s an amazing ally, especially with the new ally rules shutting down most other defensive allies. She gets around them for her family, so just run her if you are Vegeta or Trunks.

Expanded: 4.3 out of 5.0 (amazing ally for Trunks and Vegeta)
Focused: 4.3 out of 5.0 (Trunks is your only option, and there’s no South Kai, but she’s still good)
Sealed: 4.8 out of 5.0 (ally with a decent power… how can you go wrong?)

Bulma lvl 1 GT, If your MP is Trunks,Bulla,or Vegeta,Balma does not half to take over combact to use this power. Stop and Energy attack. Joy another waste of an ally. If im playing as Trunks as my MP why would i need Bulma as my backup. For starters shes week as can be, 2 id just stick with Vegeta cause if your getting slammed by attacks would you rather pull out Vegeta or Bulma. Now the stopping an energy attack is nice but when trunks gets 2 his level 2 you dont need her really and combined with the right cards in a blue deck hes a pain.Like i said before forget your allies and go with brute force. I give Ballma a score of a 1.5 cause as soon as trunks powers up she firewood. But mom i still love you.

~Surllio~ Bulma, the Mom lvl 1
GT Uncommon #125
Personality

Bulma's GT level 1 makes for a good DB deck Ally, since she runs best with Trunks. The can help Vegeta as well, though she has Bulla mentioned, Bulla cannot be an MP, yet.

Bulma's ability to sure her power to stop an Energy attack is just nice. The fact that with Trunks or Vegeta she can use it at any time is just nice. Especially with Trunks. Trunks decks don't focus on energy defense, because of his power, but they do need a few energy stops to keep some nasty effects from getting through, like capturing a DB, or Discarding/Removal of non-combats and drills. With Vegeta, she is a floating energy stop that just helps him out when a stop all isn't avalible, letting him keep a card in his hand.

Bulma makes for a wonderful ally for anyone though. Defensive allies are great, but hard to use. An energy defense ally is good in any ally deck, since it keeps a life deck that will be fairly low once the allies hit the table safe from a devestating energy attack which could get rid of the stuff you need.

Her focused use is a lot higher than her Expanded use, simply because the number of allies in focused is a lot less, and in expanded, you already have a few defensive allies.

Focused: 3.4 of 5
Expanded: 2.8 of 5
Sealed: 4.2 of 5 (sealed allies, good stuff)
