Cryptid Gnaw Liege, Sabnac  Well, when you've got a skill as good as this one, it makes sense for it to be Vanguard-to-Vanguard restricted. For CB1 you have what is effectively a 25k shield for the attack it was placed on, so 2-to-pass an unboosted G-Unit most of the time, and for the rest of the turn all attacks to the Vanguard require 5k less shield. Of course, that does usually mean your rear-guards are going to get toasted in its stead, so unless you were clever with vanishing rear-guards like One-Eyed Succubus and Brennen Vampir, your front-row's going to vamoose without proper protection. You also need 10+ soul cards, so unless it's something deliberately fast like Bladewings, this is a late-game G-Guardian, no bones about it.  Given a meaty G-Guardian will only be used when a Perfect Guard isn't available for the Vanguard, this does the job it was built for adequately. Can be played around by swinging with a rear-guard first but it works, as long as the deck is a fast soulcharger.  3/5

Here's a fun little G-guardian. While it only works on vanguard attacks, suddenly adding 5k to the base of your vanguard makes defense for the rest of the turn so much easier. and on its own it essentially is a 25k shield for 1 cb which is about what you'd expect from a g-guardian. The space for guardians in DI is kinda tight, but you should be able to squeeze this in next to Germain and Vincent 3/5
