Ghostie Leader, Demetria
- #G-CHB03/012EN

Reviewed: May 31, 2017

[AUTO](VC):When your rear-guard is retired, choose a normal unit with grade less than that unit and "Ghostie" in its card name from your drop zone, and you may call it to (RC). If you do, this unit loses this ability until end of turn. [AUTO]:[Soul Blast (2)-] When this unit is placed on (VC), you may pay the cost. If you do, reveal cards from the top of your deck until a grade 1 card is revealed, choose a grade 1 card with "Ghostie" in its card name from among them, put it into your hand, and put the rest into your drop zone.

I don't feel there is much merit in discussing an archetype that isn't really an archetype at all when another deck could functionally do better.

Forced choices and meh skill makes for bad times.

So here's something new and unique (though sadly not as powerful) Demetria works for all the adorable little Ghosties you see in other Granblue decks, but here it's actually an engine of inevitability.

Her first ability is akin to a bizarro Nightrose, in that it lets you call a unit when one of yours dies. The biggest advantage it has over Nightrose's GB2 is that if multiple units die simultaneously, you can still replace all of them, instead of being stuck with just one. combined with the Ghostie deck's new cards that continuously replace themselves as well and your field is almost impossible to clear. Granted, this makes you weaker against Lock, and she doesn't inherently let you call more units, but it's a fun gimmick if nothing else. If you want a budget Granblue deck, she's your girl. just hope you can pick up those Ghostie Perfect Guards from the Trial Deck from someone
