[ACT](VC):[Counter Blast (1)] If this unit is Legion, declare a card name, and reveal the top card of your deck. | Goddess of the Treasured Mirror Ohiruhime
Continuing with our theme of not warning people about
what are good buys and what aren't, we move onto a promo
we didn't get a chance to review until now, Ohiruhime.
She legions with CEO Amaterasu, and for all that effort?
Well, once per turn you can CB1, name a card, and if the
top card of your deck has that name, Soulcharge 2 and
unflip 2 damage. AND, if the card revealed was another
CEO or Orhiruhime, you draw 2 cards.

I should like to point out at this stage that the
Legion-ed CEO Amaterasu still gets all of its skills as
it's technically on VG circle. Everything up to its
Megablast, its Divination skill, and its power increase.
So with 4 in the hand, Ohiruhime is swinging for 25k
						unboosted. Neat stuff.

So why would we do this? Well, at first, its a setup for
Ammy's megablast, soulcharging and unflipping damage
after seeing what's on top with CEO.

But there's a problem with that though. Why would I want
to waste CEO in this way?

The whole reason anyone ran CEO in the first place is to
make it easier to check a trigger. Not only is Ohiruhime
soulcharging on top of CEO increasing the risk of
deckout, one of the cards charged is the card you just
revealed, so it doesn't even get that benefit. And
honestly, by the time CEO can use it, it's on-hit and
restricted to Late Game, so it's never going to happen.

But let's say for the sake of argument that you want to
do this? For CB5 and SB8, you draw 5 cards. Except I can
just use a card like Stellar Magus to net me that card
if it's not a trigger and just leave it if it is.
Stellar is CB1 everytime, so you don't need to put all
						your eggs in one basket.

Ohiruhime only really should exist to get CEO on the VG
circle guaranteed. Don't use the 2nd skill because  it
REALLY isn't worth it at all.

 | Goddess of the Treasure Mirror, Ohirume
Ah, a new Legion type.  Unlike the typical Legions
that we've been getting, Ohirume here is a Throwback
Legion.  Throwback Legions are Legions that partner
with Grade 3 units and, typically, have no skills unless
they're in Legion.  On top of that, any skill that
they do have, typically again, is only used to enhance
the original Mate and make it relevant again.

Anyway, Ohirume here Legions with CEO Amaterasu.
Once a turn, you can CB 1 and name a card, if you call
it right, you get to Soul Charge 2 and unflip up to 2
damage in your damage zone.  If the card revealed
has the same name as one of the units in your Vanguard
						circle, draw 2 as well.

The biggest issues Mega Blast units had was that they
were very slow, outside of Dark Irregular and Pale Moon,
most couldn't Soul Charge enough to get to use the Mega
Blast without help.  This speeds up the process by
						a tremendous amount.

Now, remember back to my review of Seeker Alfred?
How if Alfred performed Legion with the original Blaster
Blade, well, okay, the current...  The one from the
original Trial Deck (Damn you, Time Travel!  No
wonder everyone hates it.) and how you could use the CB2
skill to retire any rear-guard on Legion?

Well, Amaterasu's skills are all active as a Vanguard,
even in Legion.  Which means, the turn after you
Legion with her, you get to Soul Charge 1 and look at
the top card, and then you can use Ohirume's skill to
get it right and Soul Charge 2 more cards, meaning you
get 3 cards every turn into the soul, making it very
easy to get her Mega Blast skill off.

Also, if you have 4 or more cards in your hand at any
time during your turn, the Legion is 25,000 by itself.
Which is pretty good, I think.

Anyway, Amaterasu's Mega Blast, for those of you who
have forgotten, is Counter Blast 5, Soul Blast 8, when
the attack hits, draw up to five cards.

That...  Is really good.  Doubly so since it
works as a Vanguard OR as a Rear Guard, also, it only
needs to hit, not the Vanguard, but anything.

The only real problem with this is, this isn't a way to
win the game, but rather, it's a way to keep yourself
from losing the game.  Despite how similar it
sounds, if you're just trying to not lose, you're not
winning the game.  Sure, you might win, but chances
are, you more-than-likely won't and will just drag the
						game out.

However, there *IS* a Mega Blast unit that this could
work with, that also works as a Rear Guard, to win.

 Stil Vampir

Remember, the mixed Clan rule doesn't apply outside of
						Japan.

Anyway, Stil Vampir can make it so that you replace an
opponent's Vanguard with one of their rear guards.
If they happen to have a Grade 0 rear guard?  Well,
that sucks for them.  See, you can ONLY call units
to the Guardian Circle with cards of equal or lower
grade than your vanguard.  Apparently you can't
						even intercept.

However, this is not a super competitive deck, though it
does make the original Oracle Think Tank deck just a bit
						better.

Plus it's better than most of the Battle Sisters or
						Magus that the clan has.
