And now we return to regularly scheduled badness. This is a starter that stacks a Blaster Blade Liberator to the top of the deck by putting it in the soul, as an ACT skill.

So of course you are going to be using it with the express purpose of stacking BBL for the sake of Monarch Sanctuary Alfred. Or at least that's how it would go in theory. Certainly the idea is executable, but Alfred isn't an ace really worth dedicating an entire build around. I'll let my review for it speak for itself.

If I want to -1 myself I want it to be able to open up plays later on down the line that can provide benefits in a long-term way (I like Greedy Hand in particular if only because Dimension Creeper/Doreen the Thruster combos exist). All Arum really does is provide consistency to a play that is going to blow up in your face anyway owing to how Alfred's skill and timing work together. It's not justifiable.

Arum's probably what you'll fall back on if you absolutely HAVE to use that deck, but that's a specific niche and Alfred's not really good enough to compensate for this.

So, you're at 5 damage, you have Monarch Alfred in play and you want to make sure that you can guarantee yourself Alfred's Ultimate Break?  Well, look no farther than Arum here, simply move it to the soul and put Blaster Blade Liberator on the top of your deck for an easy Ultimate Break.

And, if you happen to have a couple of Balans in play before hand, well, you'll get two damage unflipped, and, hey, if you have another Blaster Blade Liberator, you can unflip another 2 damage off of those same Balans.

It's a nice piece of synergy and works well for Alfred's Ultimate Break.

Well, not just Alfred, but there's also Gancelot Zenith too.  Wanna make sure that the top card will be a unit worth getting with Zenith's skill?  Arum works pretty well for that, after all.

Not much else to say, it's a nice effect and works well with the two better Liberators right now.

Rating: 3.5/5
