What's up, Rogue Squad?! So for today's Grade 1/7,000 Power cards, we're looking at another subclan card, but I personally see this a bit more viable than yesterday's card...which might or might not have been shown due to Memorial Day...

Beast Deity, Max Beat
Power: 7000
Grade 1
Clan: Nova Grappler
Race: Battleroid
[AUTO](RC):[Counter Blast (1)-card with "Beast Deity" in its card name] During your battle phase, when this unit [Stand], if you have a «Nova Grappler» vanguard you may pay the cost. If you do, choose one of your other «Nova Grappler» rear-guards, and [Stand] it.

...this one fits in the category of, "would be even more useful if I wasn't reliant on Especial Counterblast". When Max Stands up, you Counterblast a Beast Deity card to Stand another rear-guard. In most circumstances, you'd Stand up the card that this unit was boosting, but if you have a column with Riot Horn, then it might be best to Syand that column of you feel that it might be stronger than the Max Beat column or if you have other ways to Stand up the other column like Extreme Ethics.

Aside from the Counterblast restraint, Max is a really good card for the clan in general, and definitely a staple for the Beast Deity deck.

Beast Deity, Max Beat

Second card of the week is Max Beat. When he stands during the Battle Phase, you Counterblast a Beast Deity to stand another Rear Guard.

So obviously you're supposed to stand him, then stand the unit in front of him to get an entire column set up to attack. In Beast Deities, the deck's pretty light on Counterblast until Late Game so spending them on him's a good way to burn the opponent's hand for 10k more.

See why it's boring? There's really nothing to say about these things.

2.5/5
