What's up, Rogue Squad?!  So for today's Card of the Day, we're probably looking at one of the more inferior rare's in the set...fair warning.

Dimensional Robo, Daiheart
Power: 9000
Grade 2
Clan: Dimension Police
Race: Battleroid
[AUTO](VC):At the beginning of your attack step, if this unit's [Power] is 13000 or greater, until end of that battle, this unit gets "[AUTO](VC):[Choose two grade 3 cards with "Dimensional Robo" in its card name from your hand, and put them into your soul] When this unit's attack hits a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck for up to one grade 3 card with "Dimensional Robo" in its card name, ride it at [Rest], and shuffle your deck.".

...this is probably the most redundant effect that the D-Robos have when it comes to their support...and they have some pretty redundant stuff!  Daiheart allows you to get to Grade 3...by sending 2 other Grade 3's into the Soul...while starting the battle at 13,000 or higher...this card just screams fail in so many levels that breaking it down would be pointless, but here goes:

•The fact that you have to start at 13,000 or higher to use said effect makes it so that you have to waste resources to use said effects like Dailander, Daidriller or Daimagnum, and out of those 3, you'd only really see Daimagnum if at all.

•The fact that you have to have 2 Grade 3's in hand by the time you hit means that you lose 2 potential rear-guards for a Ride of your choice still doesn't change the fact that you're minusing a lot for the payout.

•The new Vanguard comes out at Rest...this would be an interesting pressure card and actually compensate the losing 2 Grade 3's if you were able to attack with the new Vanguard!!!

•Daidragon, Daibarrett, Kaizard and even Daifighter are just so much better than this!

...seriously, don't play this.  It sucks.

Rating: 1/5
Artwork: 2/5 (They just gave Goyusha a giant shield and weapon...)
Next Time: Huh...so I DID forget a Reverse unit...

Go Rogue...Go Pro!
...and DON'T be a Sackboy!!!

I really have to get this done. Too many people singing his praises without realising how unwieldy this guy really is. Let's break down his skills. When he attacks with a power of 13k or greater BEFORE boost and his attack hits, you move 2 Grade 3 Dimenional Robos from the hand to the soul to Superior Ride a Grade 3 Dimensional Robo at rest.

So let's recap:

1. He requires a Daidriller, Dailander or Daimagnum to make live. 2 of which you were holding back for your Daiyusha shenanigans Mid Game, and 1 of which is a -1.

2. You need 2 of the 8 or so Grade 3s in your hand. So you're sacrificing the capacity to hold them back as attackers to ride into something...why? You could incur the SAME minuses just riding normally and at least should you draw something better you can hold them back until they die.

3. So you go through all this effort, and all you've accomplished is either an Early Reverse Daiyusha (which will lock you into Late Game giving better decks that thrive on Mid Game less effort required to screw them like Revengers), or a Daikaiser, which you then have to ride over AGAIN later, turning the whole affair into a very wasteful -1 (-2 if you used Daimagnum). And let's not get started how counterintuitive it is to remove Grade 3s from the deck in the second scenario.

All in all, there is no reason to use this thing at he expense of more stable cards. Forget Daiheart.

1.5/5
