Wisdom Keeper, Metis

Oh here we go, a promo to break up the monotony. She's Genesis's THIRD Break Ride. But instead of Soulblasting for skill granting, for a cost of Counterblast 1, she Soulcharges 3 and lets its user draw a card, as well as granting 10k (same ruling for Angelica applies here).

I don't really like her that much. Not least because for CB1, all I'm achieving is a +0 wash in card advantage from riding again, but also because I don't feel that any of the available aces for Genesis need to be so gluttonous with soul. At least, any gambit worth mentioning needn't be anyway. Iwanagahime only should be going off once a Game because of how hard it is to replace attackers in Late Game, Fortuna just sucks and only lands diminishing returns the more she's used in a turn, Artemis can't kill an opponent very well so getting more fuel for her seems pointless, Yatagarasu is no Minerva, and Minerva's Soulblast cost doesn't justify it because it's so small. Not to mention we soon get a new starter that can Soulcharge on-boost.

All in all, Metis is no game-changer for anything that really matters.
