 | What's up, Rogue Squad?! So for this week, we're
going to be taking a look at promo cards, so say hello
to Promo Week, and today. We're going to be taking a
look at... Sword of Hope, RichardPower: 6000
 Grade 1
 Clan: Royal Paladin
 Race: Human
[AUTO]:[Soul Blast (1)] When this unit is placed on (RC)
from your deck, if you have a «Royal Paladin» vanguard,
you may pay the cost. If you do, draw a card.
...in short, this is Dindrane for Royal
Paladins...and personally, better than Dindrane! Why?
It's really simple honestly; it's a matter of how the
characteristics of the two Paladin decks really differ.
For Gold Paladins, since you're mainly calling the top
card of the deck, you're relying way too much on the top
card of the deck to be something good. However, Royal
Paladins have a really good way of searching the deck to
call certain units to the field. Personally, Richard
here can definitely be utilized the best with Sanctuary
Guard Dragon as his effect can help call Richard to the
field, utilize his effect and also boost Sanctuary Guard
Dragon's Limit Break all at the same time. The 6,000
power is lacking, but the effect to draw a card
definitely compensates the small power. Not many people will be able to utilize Richard, but
to the ones that can, kudos and cheers to y'all. Rating: 3.5/5Art: 3/5
Next Time: so I heard you liked Criticals...

						Sword of Hope, Richard

						...Because we can't review
BT14 yet, it's yet another PROMO week! And kicking us
off is a card that in my mind is long overdue, Sword of
Hope Richard. For a Soulblast of 1 when called from the
						deck, you draw a card.

It's a pity that few cards
can actually summon him, though. Sanctuary Guard Dragon
and the original Alfred are the only ones that spring to
mind as I type. I will say that Sanctuary Guard
desperately wanted this card because easy plus. That and
there's probably more room Grade 2-wise than the old
Alfred deck, since with only 6k power a 10k Vanilla is
						kind of forced.

I have yet to see a decent
Sanctuary Guard deck, so I can't speak for all of its
entire potential, but largely it's fairly poor outside
of the two decks described above.
