What's up, Rogue Squad?! To wrap up our Promo Week,
we're looking at a Link Joker boss card that *gasp*
isn't Chaos Breaker Dragon or Infinite-Zero Dragon?!

[ACT](VC) Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if you
have four or more damage):[Counter Blast (2) & Soul
Blast (2)] Choose a rear-guard from your opponent's
front row and back row, and lock them.
(The locked card is turned face down, and cannot do
anything. It turns face up at the end of the owner's
[AUTO](VC):[Choose one of your «Link Joker» rear-guards,
and put it into your soul] When this unit attacks a
vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, this unit
gets [Power]+5000 until end of that battle.
[CONT](VC/RC): Lord (If you have a unit without a same
clan as this unit, this unit cannot attack)
...this is actually a rather unique skill as it's
basically Infinite-zero Dragon without the Break Ride
clause, which is replaced with a pretty steep
Counterblast 2 AND Soul Blast 2, but being able to Lock
2 units with it is pretty nice as it'll definitely stop
one attack from going on and crippling a second column
(normally the Vanguard column), but with that being
said, the cost is still a steep one even with the effect
to add other Link Jokers to the Soul still won't
compensate the Counterblast payment needed to use the
effect and can really be a nuisance to pull off as the
only way to deal with used damage is to heal it
away...but that's it as far as that goes.
Is it a bad card? Not really, but it's definitely no
Chaos Breaker or even Nebula Lord.

Binary Star, Twin Gunner
The final promo of the week
is one I shall never have because I can't afford travel
to go to tournaments, Binary Star, Twin-Gunner. Its
Limit Break is to Counterblast 2 and Soulblast 2 to lock
a front row and back row. Normal ability is to absorb a
Link Joker rear-guard into the soul to give it 5k on
attacking the Vanguard.
It's a cute card, but to be
brutally honest Chaos Breaker pretty much does him in.
Not only does Chaos lock sooner than Twin Gunner, Chaos
Breaker can get you strict +1s as opposed to Twin
Gunner's virtual +1s. Chaos can also get rid of problems
permanently. Binary is also assuming you don't use the
2nd skill good for one go; your Grade 1 and 2 should be
all that's in the soul. Yes, maybe he can go again if
you use Dust Tail and you use his 2nd skill too, but the
2nd skill is not useful no matter what stage of the game
you're in: Mid Game and no-one would block him anyway,
Late Game and the opponent will just drop the PGs they
saved into his face so you -1 for nothing.
Binary I guess could have a
niche with Infinite-Zero so that along with Dust Tail 4
soul is accumulated, but if you have Infinite Zero to
combine anything with, you could combine it with Chaos
Breaker for better results.
