What's up, you guys?! So apparently, I'm no longer
alone on writing cards...awesome!!! I was wondering when
someone else would also add in their two cents! Anyway,
it's time for Thursday's Card of the Day with...
Dark Metal Dragon
Clan: Shadow Paladin
Race: Abyss Dragon
[AUTO](VC):When this unit's drive check reveals a
«Shadow Paladin», this unit gets [Power]+2000 until end
of that battle.
...so in a sense, this is basically a Shadow Paladin
version of Flare Whip Dragon, but what it gains from
checking for a Clan in stead of a race it lacks in
Power. With Flare Whip Dragon, now that Set 11 is only
days away and you can make a Flame Dragon deck, it can
be at least 16,000 by itself without boost or actual
triggers going off, but with Dark Metal Dragon, it
becomes 14,000 by itself. Now there isn't anything wrong
with that, but the thing is that Shadow Paladins have SO
many different choices for a Grade 3 lineup that playing
this is obsolete to begin with when you can play either
of the Phantom Blaster cards, Il Dona or even the lesser
used The Dark Dictator.
In short, this card is overshadowed for a very good
reason as it shouldn't really be used...at all.
Art: 2/5 (Never understood where exactly the body began
and ended at times...)
Next Time: I always thought Salamanders were just
regular lizards and not lizards that are on fire 24/7...
Go Rogue...Go Pro!
...and DON'T be a Sackboy!!!
