What's up, you guys?! Sorry about not posting up for Monday; I got back from North Carolina the night before and just zonked out to sleep...the rest was awesome. xD. Anyway, I'm back for another COTD with... Cherry Blossom Musketeer, Augusto Power: 9000 Grade 2 Clan: Neo Nectar Race: Bioroid [AUTO](RC): When this unit attacks, if you have a vanguard with "Musketeer" in its card name, this unit gets [Power]+3000 until end of that battle. ...great...more Musketeers...but honestly, I can't really argue with this one seeing how its a Burning Horn Dragon/Bedivere clone, and no one can have enough of these! Basically, this will be attacking with 12,000 all the time if you're using Musketeers...and if you aren't, then why are you using him? Exactly. The best way to take advantage of this is with Corolla Dragon as it would make a 20,000 column which gives those 10,000 power Vanguards some problems. Either that or wait for them to get Dandelion Musketeer, Mirkka which essentially is a 9,000 booster with Musketeers. In conclusion, it's a basic card ability wise, but sometimes, it's the simple things that matter! Rating: 5/5 in Musketeers, 1/5 anywhere else...seriously, use it in Musketeers. Cherry Blossom Musketeer, Augusto Okay, before I get into this card, I would like to make a small comment about the art. Musketeers were originally part of the French military. While many of them carried swords, I can assure that, in all cases, no historically accurate Musketeer has ever carried a Japanese samurai sword. Now, let us move on to Augusto. Augusto is a Musketeer unit that does not contribute directly to the musketeer theme of retire and replace to fill up the drop zone. What he does do is provide some attack power to an archtype that ultimately aims to bring out a group of grade three units. As long as your vanguard is a Musketeer, Augusto attacks at 12k. That condition is easy to fulfill, but what makes Augusto better is that he can threaten even an 11k vanguard unboosted. Call him out using a Musketeer skill while your vanguard is still grade one lets you apply some early game pressure, making your Cecilia limit break down the line much more threatening. Rating: 5/5 – Provides extra oomph to the Musketeers.
