What's up, you guys?! Apparently, it's Bermuda Triangle week, but given the art design on them, I'm just going to call this week, "Lolli Week". Anyway, here's our first card: Mirror Diva, Biscayne Power: 6000 Grade 1 Clan: Bermuda Triangle Race: Mermaid (No surprise) [AUTO]:[Soul Blast (1)] When this unit is placed on (RC), if you have a «Bermuda Triangle» vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, look at up to seven cards from the top of your deck, search for up to one card named "Mirror Diva, Biscayne" from among them, reveal it to your opponent, put it into your hand, and shuffle your deck. This one is a rather interesting card in all aspects. It uses a Soulblast as payment instead of a Counterblast and can get another copy of herself out of the deck if its one of the first seven. I think that's part of the risk for Biscayne seeing how it literally is a hit or miss skill and isn't a very effective booster at a par 6,000. Overall, it's a mediocre card with a risky effect. I'd rate it lower though if it required a Counterblast instead. Rating: 2/5 Art: 3/5 (I see what they did there xD) Next Time: I play the Celtic Guardian...no wait that doesn't sound right... Mirror Diva, Biscayne Mirror Diva Biscayne is an interesting new member of the Bermuda Triangle clan. Her skill is stand alone unique, and can be quite useful if it works out. When placed on a rear guard circle, you can soul blast one, then check the top seven cards of the deck, adding a copy of Biscayne to your hand should you find one there. So basically, you have seven chances to break even on calling Biscayne from your hand. Biscayne herself is a 6k grade one unit; at the low end of good for a booster, but any possibility of a card being free is worth looking into, especially if that free card can potentially get you another free card. At the very least, you can end up with a couple of boosters and a 5k shield in your hand. So what are the odds of this skill working? At the earliest point possible to get this effect off, you will have a maximum of forty two cards in the deck, three of which will be Biscayne (the forth being in your hand, obviously). So three out of forty two, or one out of fourteen (anybody like fractions?) cards are copies of Biscayne. So the first Biscayne gives you seven chances to see a one-of-fourteen card. That’s actually a fifty percent chance, assuming the deck is sufficiently randomized. The odds go way down for the second attempt; about thirty percent. A fifty-fifty shot at a free card is a decent bet, though. Cards like Devil Summoner and Examine Angel have around the same odds, but don’t come with the decent power. Mirror Diva is an interesting tech option for Bermuda decks, especially since Bermudas are typical soul charging decks. I would expect her to appear in many Bermuda players’ decks. Rating: 4/5 – Low power, and the odds of success go down the more you use her, but still a good card.
