Medical Gunner, Hermieres

Hermieres is effectively a Nightmare Doll, Alice clone for Angel Feathers. She is a 10k grade three who can swap with a unit in the damage zone (other than herself or another copy) when she hits, if you counterblast one card.

There are two big differences that make her less versatile than Alice, though. First, in order to do the swap, her attack has to hit the vanguard. Alice is dangerous because she can use her skill when she hits a rear guard or the vanguard. That’s no big deal, since lots of skills require hitting the vanguard, and Hermieres has a 10k body to do it with. The other potential glitch is that you can only select a face up card in damage to call, meaning you have to be careful what you counterblast during the game. Also not a big deal, since it’s very easy to pay attention to what you are counterblasting. Just don’t counterblast the unit you want to call.

Despite her skill, Hermieres still has a hard time fitting into the Angel Feather deck. Rear guard intended grade threes are typically Calamity Flames, but Hermieres could definitely be a surprise alternate, especially since her skill combos better with Million and Thousand Ray Pegasus.

Rating: 3/5 – Increasing the number of attacks and the amount of power at the same time is pretty good.
