Linoone

Linoone’s first attack Seek Out for one energy is interesting.  It allows you to search your deck for any two cards and put them into your hand.  Having a weakness to fighting and 70 hit points it could get knocked out fast.  The second attack Continuous Headbutt for 2 energy relies on flipping a coin which can be a wasted turn if the flip doesn’t work out.

Modified- In the current modified format if you got it out early it could be very helpful getting much needed cards in your hand.  Fighting is still to popular for this card I feel to play it.  If some of the current search engines go away I believe this card has a place in the game. 2/5

Unlimited- There are to many other good Pokemon to play and better search engines than this card.  It would be an easy prize for your opponent with possibly dealing no damage. 1/5

Draft- While Seek Out could be useful, Continuous Headbutt depends on flip.  Attacks that depend all on a flip are risky because it can be a wasted turn.  There are probably better cards to choose from and I would pass on this card. 1.5/5

Linoone:

Geeze, how can a non damaging attack get any better?  Double Computer search for ONE COLORLESS ENERGY?  My gosh.  When Cleffa is gone, I see this guy becoming HOT!  The second attack isn't TOO bad, as for only two heads you get a quick 80 for any two energy.  Linoone is defiantly no slouch.

Unlimited:  Well, there is better drawing here.  2/5

Modified:  Sweet.  This guy can get you what you need on second turn, something even Cleffa fails to do sometimes.  4/5

Draft:  Excellent.  It may be an attack, but any two cards out of the deck in draft is totally broken.  Take it!  5/5

The Bottom Line:  3.5/5

Perfect One Linoone (Uncommon)

One of the most anticipated cards in Ruby/Sapphire.

Unlimited- I could say that this card has its place, but Tyrogues and plus powers still run rampant and Sneasel will destroy it.  That search ability is nice, but that's what Computer Search is for.
rating--- 1.75

Modified- It could be a good support card for double evolution or Scizor.  Otherwise, I do not see it in many decks, for the simple fact that it is a sitting duck, waiting to be killed!
rating--- 2.75

Draft- A top pick!  Zigzagoons are commons, and this guy will fetch out all of your evolutions and whatever else you need!  Its evil!!!
rating--- 4.25

2 vs. 2-  Using him here can help you set up early for your team, but if you plan on leaving him active... he will be your opponents target for a OHKO.
rating--- 2.5

Multiplayer-  From what I gather, you can choose whose deck to search through for cards!  If this is right, whoever is out of draw cards or isn't set up, will get what they need, for a low cost!
rating--- 3.5
