Slow…

That’s the word. Now, those who are wondering, Meer’s Present are added to hand and…don’t do anything. Instead, they just sort of exist in a limbo and are used to mostly pay costs, or enable others, like this one. You get a present every Main Phase, and every Battle Phase you get power to rear-guards and a free Heal if you have two Presents.

But having to wait until your 4th turn for any traction in a format that’s fast is generally not an attractive strategy. It’s not even to WIN – just avoid losing as much as possible. Being able to survive more clutch Critical Triggers is nice, yes, but that soft advantage won’t outpace theirs if the deck’s sufficiently aggressive, and the third skill to gain a +1 is just a bandage for the decks that can also murder…looking at Descendant and The X for example.

Again, a budget build. She’s annoying, but too slow for any real impact. No interaction with Premium cards either.

2.5/5
