Enchanted Evening

It combos with Greater Auramancy to protect your stuff, or with Tempest of Light as a global reset button.  Trouble is, if it's not a combo piece, it's nothing, which means you're not getting any use out of it in Limited, and it's a risky maneuver in Constructed.

Wednesday - Enchanted Evening

This card is comboriffic, but not very many of the combos are actually that useful. Still, this is great with things like Patrician's Scorn (in Standard) to get a reset of the board. If you want to venture outside of Standard, try something like Cleansing Meditation or Kami of Ancient Law. Again, not a particularly efficient combo (especially since this costs 5 mana, which is way too much in Extended for a card that doesn't do anything by itself), but something that can be a lot of fun.

In limited, like yesterday's card, this is trash.

The stuff you can do with this card is just downright silly. Not very powerful for competitive tournament play, but very, very silly and very, very fun. The best combos with this card aren't even in Standard - remember Primeval Light from Guildpact?

Enchanted Evening - Wednesday

I hate cards like this.  They are confusing to new players.  When you opponent plays them, you know there is some overly complicated, silly, combo situation about to be set up.  And on it's own, it doesn't really do much of anything.

Enchanted Evening

This card has combo potential. This plus Patrician’s Scorn wipes the board for five mana. It turns any Disenchant effect into Vindicate. You could also pair it up with Seal of Cleansing, Seal of Primordium, and Replenish to continually nuke your opponent’s stuff. All that being said, I’ll be shocked if any deck makes a top eight with a copy of this in it.

It is almost impossible to pull of combos in limited, and combo is all this card really has. Avoid at all costs.

Constructed: NEWS FLASH!!! Enchantress decks gets a new toy. Tranquility clears the board. Stay tune for more information.

Casual: Let's see how big will she goooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Limited: Humm. Let's see here. Nope. Nothing usefull in a Shadowmoor draft of sealed deck for this card. Would not recommend using it.
