So between your theoretical 6 Aqua PGs and this, it wins the award for highest level of theoretical shield, with a whopping 105k (6 Aqua and 3 of this face-up in the G Zone, plus her base shield). But that aside, she’s still a meaty 25k shield minimum as long as you have at least one Elly or one PG in the drop. Sadly no other tricks such as Lauris Harmony defense, it’s just huge shield, but in all honesty she’s generic enough to run everywhere, and you only want the trickier G Guardians if the focus is on Lauris anyway.

What’s up, Rogue Squad?!  For today’s card, this is easily a staple in almost every Bermuda Triangle deck, as its plus Shield effect is reliant on two things that almost every deck in the game uses: Sentinels and G Guardians.  Elly’s shield goes up by 10k for each Sentinel in the Drop Zone (which can now be +60k by itself thanks to the new Aqua Sentinel that is allowed to be played with 6 copies) and for each Elly you have already faceup in the G Zone.  To make matters better, Elly is also a recyclable G Guardian all for the cost of a Soulblast, which combos nicely with the Grade 2 Sandy that can be discarded as a Heal Trigger to pay for G Guardians, which means in a best case scenario, along with paying for the Elly’s cost to unflip and so on, you can G Guard into this beastly shield a total amount of 8 times in one game.  Elly is made for Bermudas as their known defensive traits just got a serious upgrade in the clan’s first Sentinel ever.
