Japanese Dragon Ball - Episode Summaries Episode 66 - The Red Ribbon's Desperate Defense Series: Dragon Ball ·
In their plane, Bulma, Yamcha, KameSennin,
Lunch (evil form), Oolong, Puar, and Umigame fly toward
Red Ribbon HQ. Bulma asks why she is here, and Oolong
says that he doesn’t want to be here, either. Yamcha
says he is sure they can all help, as Goku has saved
them all before. Umigame asks if he can help, and Lunch
says yes, as they can eat him during an emergency.
Umigame is scared. Yamcha
asks where Kuririn is, and KameSennin says that he is
swimming to land, to go shopping, since they have no
vehicles. Yamcha says they need to get Kuririn, as he
will he useful. They fly low, over the ocean, looking
for Kuririn. ·
Meanwhile, at Red Ribbon HQ, Red Leader
and Black Hosa watch the radar. Red asks if the defense
system is active, and a soldier says no. Red says that
is good, because Tao Pai Pai wouldn’t like to be
greeted by missiles. Red asks if their welcome for Tao
Pai Pai is ready, and Black says yes. ·
Meanwhile, a soldier flying in plane #84
is told over radio to send visual confirmation of Tao
Pai Pai’s arrival, and he agrees. In the distance,
Goku flies along on Kintoun, getting closer to the base.

Meanwhile, Kuririn swims through the
ocean, getting tired. Suddenly, he sees a plane
overhead, and frantically starts swimming away from it.
Eventually, the plane hovers over the water, and he is
surprised to see that it is just Yamcha and the others.
Soon, Kuririn is in the plane, and has been told about
where they are going. Kuririn asks if Goku is really
going to attack Red Ribbon HQ, and KameSennin says yes.
Lunch can’t wait to shoot someone, and Kuririn says
that she is useful in a situation like this. Yamcha asks
Bulma if he is going the right way, and she says yes, as
they only have 40 minutes until they arrive. Oolong says
they make a great team, and Bulma smacks him. Bulma
tells Yamcha that she has still not forgiven him, but
this is an emergency. ·
Back at Red Ribbon HQ, Red and Black watch
the radar. A soldier tells them that Tao Pai Pai is
approaching, and radios plane #84, also telling him
this. ·
Meanwhile, the soldier in plane #84 waits
as someone approaches him from the distance. He sees
that it is Goku, and is shocked. The soldier yells into
the communicator that it isn’t Tao Pai Pai, and flies
off. The soldier uses the plane’s turrets to shoot at
Goku, but he dodges. Goku extends Nyoibo, and destroys
the plane. ·
Back at Red Ribbon HQ, communication with
plane #84 is lost. The soldier tells Red that the plane
has been attacked. The screen display is switched to
visual, and they are all shocked to see Goku coming. Red
quesses that Tao Pai Pai has been defeated, and orders
for the defense system to be activated. Red says they
will make Goku sorry. ·
Meanwhile, Goku continues flying along.
The defense system is engaged, and many turrets rise
from the ground. Many missiles are fired from the
turrets, and Goku weaves through them all. Eventually,
he escapes all of the explosions, and sees Red Ribbon HQ
down below. Many planes await him, and shoot at him.
Goku weaves through the bullets, and destroys a few
planes. He descends into the base. ·
Back inside HQ, Red tells the soldiers not
to let Goku in one inch. A soldier tells Red that Goku
is already in, to Red’s dismay. The soldier adds that
he is in the terrace as Ward 12. ·
Outside, a message is sent throughout the
HQ, telling all of the soldiers to kill the intruder.
Many soldiers rush at Goku in a rage. Goku kicks a
soldier to the ground. One soldier fires at Goku from
his gun, but Goku knocks him out. 2 more soldiers shoot
at Goku, and he quickly trashes them. Goku leaps onto a
railing, and checks the Dragon Radar. He leaps down, and
runs off in the direction of the 2 Dragon Balls. As Goku
runs along, he wonders where everyone is. Suddenly, he
stops, as hundreds of soldiers await him. The soldiers
start shooting, and Goku dodges it all. Goku runs into a
building, taking a quick break. Another soldier steps
forward, firing a rocket, which Goku ducks under. Goku
says that was dangerous, and knocks the soldier out. 2
more soldiers shoot at Goku, and he defeats them with
ease. Goku runs down the hall, as Violet Taisa watches
him. ·
Back in the plane, Bulma says they should
be at the destination soon. Oolong asks if they already
passed the HQ, but Yamcha says it is hard to miss. Oolong
says it isn’t too late to turn back. Bulma points out
that the base is past the snowy mountains. As they fly
through the snowy region, a soldier watches them from a
secret watch tower, hidden in a mountain, and fires
something. Yamcha sees something on radar, and asks if
the others see anything, but they don’t. Suddenly, a
heat-seaking missile bursts from the snow, and chases
them around for a while. Oolong is panicking. Bulma
tells Yamcha to cut the rocket booster off, and he
ejects it from the plane. The missile goes after the
rocket booster, and destroys it. Bulma says that the
missile was locked onto the heat of their rocket
booster. KameSennin says that Bulma is smart because she
has big breasts, and she yells at him. Another
rocket booster comes out, and the plane continues
flying. ·
Back at Red Ribbon HQ, Violet Taisa is
stealing some money. A soldier tells her that Goku is
attacking the area nearby. Violet says she will leave it
up to him, and runs off. ·
Back outside, a soldier shoots at Goku
from a balcony, but he dodges. While Goku is on a roof,
some soldiers from flying air cars shoot at him. Goku
leaps onto one of the air cars, and knocks out its
soldier. Goku leaps away, and the air car crashes into a
tower. Goku charges and fires KameHameHa, destroying 2
more air cars. The explosion even rocks Red and Black
around, from their tower. As Goku runs along, more
soldiers shoot at him, Goku trashes those soldiers. ·
Back inside the base, a soldier tells Red
that the kid is headed toward Tower 8, where the 2
Dragon Balls are located. Black tells Red that they
should take shelter, but he refuses, asking why he
should hide from this brat. Black says that the kid
defeated Tao Pai Pai, but Red says that the Red Ribbon
Army can’t be defeated. ·
Back outside, Goku checks the Dragon
Radar, and continues running. From a balcony, a soldier
shoots Goku in the head. Goku says that hurt, but
continues running, to the soldier’s shock. ·
Back inside, a soldier tells Red and Black
that Goku has entered Tower 8, and that almost half of
their forces have been defeated. Red and Black rush off
toward Tower 8, to protect the Dragon Balls. ·
In Tower 8, Red and Black arrive in the
top room, where the Dragon Balls are. Red refuses to let
the kid have his Dragon Balls. Black says this looks
bad, as the kid is too strong, and all of their best men
have been defeated. ·
On a lower floor of Tower 8, Goku trashes
more soldiers, and checks the Dragon Radar, indicating
that the Dragon Balls are higher up. Goku looks around
the room (ignoring the elevator), and says there is no
stairs, so he jumps through the ceiling, landing on the
next floor. ·
Back on the top floor, Red watches on a TV
screen as Goku trashes more and more soldiers. Red
can’t believe that a kid who doesn’t even know how
to use an elevator is destroying his army.
