Japanese Dragon Ball  - Episode Summaries

Episode 104 - Come Back to Life, Son Goku!

Series: Dragon Ball
Version: Japanese subbed
Dragon Ball Episode 104
"Come Back to Life, Son Goku!"
-In an alley, Tamborine pummels Bacterian, and punches him to the ground.
Bacterian gets up, and angrily rushes at Tamborine, who dodges. Bacterian
punches, but Tamborine easily blocks it. Tamborine sends a wave of ki into
Bacterian's body, and he collapses, dead. He drops a piece of paper with a
symbol meaning "demon" on the corpse, and flies off. (Anime only scene)
-Meanwhile, in Pilaf's airplane, Mai brings Piccolo Daimioh some melon soda,
which he drinks. Piano asks Piccolo what they should do about collecting the
Dragon Balls, and Piccolo decides to make a new child. Pilaf, Shuu, and Mai
are scared, not wanting to see Piccolo give birth. Piano says that Piccolo
shouldn't do this, as it will drain his power and make him age faster.
Piccolo says he just has to stay alive until gaining youth, and using his
power a few times more won't kill him. Piccolo's head starts to bulge, which
disgusts Pilaf and his minions. Piccolo spits out an egg. He tells his demon
to awaken, adding that its name will be Cymbal. The egg hatches, and the
dragon-like Cymbal rises. Piccolo tells Cymbal to find the other 6 Dragon
Balls for him. He asks Pilaf for the location of the next Dragon Ball. Pilaf
points out the nearest Dragon Ball on the globe radar, so Cymbal flies off to
find it. Shuu whispers to Pilaf, saying Piccolo doesn't seem to be grateful
to them. Pilaf tells him not to worry, as Piccolo will give him half of the
world to rule. Pilaf is scared to see Piccolo watching them, and lowers the
fraction of Earth to one third. Piccolo is still silent, so Pilaf lowers it
to one fourth. Piccolo still won't say anything, and Pilaf is saddened.
-Meanwhile, in a jungle, the weakened Goku awakens. He is hungry, and sees
some fruit in a tree. He leaps at the tree, but the fruits turn out to be a
venus fly trap, which spits him away. Next, Goku rushes at a kangaroo, hoping
to eat it, but it just pummels him and kicks him away. Goku weakly says it is
hopeless.
-Meanwhile, Tamborine flies along, and he checks the tournament registry. His
next target is Man-Wolf. (Anime only scene)
-Meanwhile, at Kame House, the others have explained the Dragon Balls to
Tenshinhan and Chaozu. Yamcha says their wish should be to get rid of Piccolo
Daimioh, because they don't stand a chance to him. Puar says the Dragon Balls
turn to stone for a year after being used, and Umigame adds that it would
take a long time to wish back Kuririn. Lunch (evil form) says the body would
rot, and Oolong agrees, imagining Kuririn being wished back as a live
skeleton. Bulma says she will make a refrigerated coffin capsule to put
Kuririn into, to preserve his body. KameSennin says "light grey," and the
others ask if this is his new attack. KameSennin says he was just saying the
color of Bulma's panties, and she bashes him. Bulma asks if this is really
the right time to be joking around, and KameSennin says he was just trying to
brighten the mood. He says they still need to get the Dragon Balls, and
Tenshinhan adds that the enemy already has one of them. KameSennin says it
will be a dangerous task. They all watch the TV. A news reporter says that
there have been 4 murders in the past morning: Namu, King Chyapa, Panputto,
and Bacterian. The reporter adds that they all had a piece of paper with the
symbol for "demon" on their bodies. Lunch says it has started already. Yamcha
says they should warn the other fighters, but KameSennin says they don't know
their addresses. Tenshinhan says that if they try to put out a warning, the
world will just go into panic. KameSennin says it is dangerous to stay here,
so they should move the house to a new location. He asks Bulma how long it
will take her to build a new Dragon Radar, and she says it will take half a
day if she hurries. KameSennin tells her to build win, adding that they will
leave to get the Dragon Balls as soon as she is done. They put Kame House
back in capsule form, and fly off in a plane.
-Meanwhile, many people are at a river. They are all shocked to see the dead
body of Man-Wolf (human form) floating by, with a stick stuck in his back.
(Anime only scene)
-Meanwhile, in the plane, Lunch says they will need a lot of refrigerated
coffins, and Umigame tells her not to joke about that. KameSennin says he is
glad that Tenshinhan and Chaozu are with them. Tenshinhan says that they
can't help much if even Goku was killed. Bulma wishes Goku was alive. (Anime
only scene)
-Back in the forest, Goku hungrily wanders along. He suddenly smells food,
and rushes to it. He comes across a huge fish, cooking over a fire. He is
very happy, and lunges at the fish. He tries eating it, but is burnt. Goku
covers the flames with sand, and happily starts eating the fish.
-Meanwhile, Cymbal flies along, nearing that forest.
-Back in the forest, Goku is stuffed, having finished the fish. He punches a
rock, which shatters. Goku decides to get back at the monster, and calls for
Kintoun, but gets no answer. He remembers that Kintoun was also destroyed,
and has a flashback of when it happened. Goku angrily vows to avenge Kuririn
and Kintoun, even if he must run all the way to the monster. He checks the
Dragon Radar, and is shocked to see a Dragon Ball very close by. He looks
around, thinking the monster is nearby. A fat samurai man named Yajirobe
steps out, angrily saying that Goku ate his fish. Goku says it was just on
the ground, and Yajirobe calls him an idiot.
Next time: Who exactly is this 'Yajirobe' fella? He may be fat, but he's
strong enough to hold his own against the great Son Goku! Uh oh, Cymbal
arrives on the battlefield, and Yajirobe is going to fight him. Don't do it,
brave samurai! Huh? You're a pretty skilled swordsman! (You'll see...on the
next episode...hahaha!)
