Episode 103 - The Terror of Demon Lord Piccolo

Series: Dragon Ball
Version: Japanese subbed
Dragon Ball Episode 103
"The Terror of Demon Lord Piccolo"
-Tamborine flies along, holding the 4 star Dragon Ball and the tournament
registry. Goku flies up from behind on Kintoun, yelling for him to stop. They
face each other. Tamborine asks who he is. Goku sees his Dragon Ball, and is
angered. He vows to get back at Tamborine for killing Kuririn and stealing
his Dragon Ball. Tamborine wonders what he means, and remembers Kuririn. He
has a flashback of their fight. Kuririn lunged at Tamborine, and unleashes a
barrage of punches and kicks, which he easily dodged. Kuririn refused to let
Tamborine take the Dragon Ball, and leaped in with another attack, but
Tamborine fades. Tamborine appeared above Kuririn, and kicked him in the
head. Kuririn dropped to the ground, dead. The flashback ends. Goku vows to
kill him. Tamborine asks if he can really do that. Goku flies at Tamborine on
Kintoun, and unleashes a barrage of punches and kicks, which are all dodged
and blocked. Tamborine says those are weak punches, and smacks Goku off of
Kintoun.
-Meanwhile, at the Tenkaichi Budokai, KameSennin wraps the dead Kuririn in a
blanket, saying he was killed by one blow to the head. The others are
shocked. Bulma hopes Goku is okay.
-Back in the sky, Goku is falling, but Kintoun catches him. Goku says that
all of his energy is gone from fighting in the tournament. Tamborine calls
him a weakling. Goku flies around Tamborine on Kintoun, to confuse him. Goku
leaps at Tamborine from behind, but Tamborine just turns his head around, and
extends his tongue, grabbing Goku. He hurls Goku away, but Kintoun catches
him. Goku says this wouldn't be happening if he had eaten. Tamborine says
that Goku can never beat him. He fires a Mouth Blast at Kintoun, destroying
it, and Goku falls. Tamborine bashes Goku, sending him down faster. Goku
extends Nyoibo at Tamborine, but he catches it, and swings Goku back toward
the ground. Goku smacks to the ground, and Tamborine knees him in the back.
Tamborine prepares to leave, but Goku weakly grabs him by the foot. Tamborine
grabs Goku by the collar, and pummels him. He tosses Goku into the air, and
leaps up with him. He hammers Goku back to the ground, and flies off,
thinking he is dead.
-Back at the Tenkaichi Budokai, it is now night time. Bulma wishes that she
had never given Goku the Dragon Radar. KameSennin says that Goku is probably
dead at this point. Bulma asks how he could say that, and Oolong agrees,
saying Goku can't die. KameSennin says he would like to think so, as well. He
says that they should go back home and bury Kuririn. Yamcha vows to fight
that Piccolo Daimioh, but Bulma says he would be no match. Yamcha says it
doesn't matter, since he will come after them eventually. Oolong says he is
glad that none of this involves him. Bulma calls him an idiot, adding that
Piccolo Daimioh will take over the world anyway. KameSennin agrees, as that
would be an easy task for Piccolo. Tenshinhan asks if he knows what kind of
technique Mafuba is, but he says no, adding that it happened too quickly. The
announcer asks if they should call the police, but KameSennin says no, adding
that they would be no match, and it would only start a panic. He says they
will do something. He also tells the announcer to tell Goku that they have
gone home, if he comes back. The announcer agrees, saying that he knows they
will save the world. Lunch (evil form) picks up Kuririn, saddened. Tenshinhan
tells KameSennin that he and Chaozu have decided to join them. KameSennin
agrees, saying he feels better with them around.
-Meanwhile, in Pilaf's plane, Tamborine hands the Dragon Ball over to Piccolo
Daimioh. He says it was exactly where Pilaf and the others said it was. Pilaf
asks if Piccolo sees their good ability. Piccolo says that when he gets all 7
Dragon Balls, he will regain his youth and power. Pilaf adds that he will
also look better, which angers Piccolo. Pilaf and his minions nervously say
that Piccolo still looks handsome right now. Tamborine shows Piccolo the
tournament registry of everyone who competed in the past 10 years. Piccolo
tells him to post all of the papers on the wall, so he does. Pilaf helps him.
Tamborine finds Kuririn's paper, and crumples it up, saying he killed him.
Pilaf and his minions are shocked when they find Goku's paper. Tamborine
tells them that he killed Goku easily, which shocks them. Tamborine tells
Piccolo that there aren't many good fighters, and Piccolo is glad to hear
that. He tells Tamborine to kill all of the fighters on the registry, and
anyone else who gets in his way. Tamborine agrees. Pilaf, Mai, and Shuu are
huddled. Mai tells Pilaf that they have summoned quite an evil being.
-Meanwhile, at a martial arts dojo, King Chyapa trashes some other monks.
They forfeit, and he tells them that they will stop for today. Tamborine
steps in, challenging Chyapa. He comments on Chyapa having won the Tenkaichi
Budokai before, and lunges at him, kicking him to the ground. The monks help
Chyapa up. Chyapa unleashes a barrage of punches, which Tamborine dodges.
Tamborine pummels Chyapa, and punches him into a wall, killing him. The monks
are saddened, and they vow to avenge Chyapa. Soon, Tamborine flies off,
leaving behind many dead monks. (Anime only scene)
-Meanwhile, at a boxing arena, Panputto fights another boxer, and wins.
Tamborine flies in, challenging him. Panputto tells Tamborine to leave, or he
will get hurt. Tamborine just kicks him into a bar, killing him. The audience
is in shock, and Tamborine laughs evilly. (Anime only scene)
Next time: Goku, how can the boy that single-handedly defeated the entire Red
Ribbon Army be dead?!? Awaken Son Goku, you must defeat Piccolo Daimioh and
avenge your best friend! What's this, Piccolo's got a new minion named
Cymbal? Things aren't looking up for our heroes...

Note: You may have noticed that I write (anime only scene) next to some
scenes. These are particular scenes that don't occur in the manga (japanese
comic). I like to point out the differences between anime and manga. I left
these indications out of my Red Ribbon summaries.
