Black Concealed Mastery SDS #167
Black Concealed Mastery

Power: Your Freestyle attacks are Masked. Your Masked attacks do +3 life cards. If there is a card in your opponent's hand when you use an "If successful" effect on a Masked attack, your opponent discards a random card from his or her hand and draws a card.

Okay, for those who didn't know, I had the honors of picking this week, so I devoted it to masteries.  First up is the amazingly powerful Concealed Mastery.  Many would go as far as to say this is the most broken mastery released in SDS.  I wouldn't go that far, but it's still very powerful.  We know Black runs a lot of Masked attacks, so basically all of your attacks will be doing +3 life.  But, now we get to the fun part.  Your freestyle attacks are masked.  This is what makes this mastery insane.  Ledgic Lv 1 anybody?  Combo him with this mastery and, well, you get a sick combo.  Lets see, my discard pile is full.  Last Ditch Effort.  What?  You stopped it?  Okay, I'll just drop this masked attack to regen my discard pile anyways.  Oh, and discard a card at random and draw.  That's just an example of some of the sickness this mastery comes up with.  Drawbacks?  I don't see any, at least not with the mastery.  Looks like black gains even more power.

Expanded:  4.5/5 (I'm only taking off for the mastery hate in this format)

Focused:  5/5 (Uh, yeah, it's broke)

Sealed:  5/5 (Run it.  It's a mastery at least.  Albiet one that powers up more attacks than normal)
