Richard Barbee Black Blinding Beams
Combat, Energy
3: (Energy attack for 11 life cards) Masked. If stopped, discard 1 Non-Combat card that your opponent controls.

Here s a card that works somewhat well with the last card we reviewed ;) Uh, I conveniently show that Orange deck my non removal in the form of an if stopped effect in multiples of threes when I used that Black Sparring Block. Thanks, you really wanna stop? I mean, you know you ll lose a non, so lets choose between that beefy 11 life or that loss of your CoGD/Focusing Drill/etc. =/ Wow, this card can make things interesting. Oh and since it laughs when Dball stops and kills their combat ender, it s all the better. Problem is, I can think of better non removal =/ Don t you just hate that, gg. Of course, that s not in the form of a beefy attack, so that is a plus for this card. All in all, it s balanced, punishing your opponent for blocking and punishing him if he doesn t. Blue Prevention just mocks this card though, so play wisely. IMO, your best bet would be to run this in your sensei if it isn t overflowing (don t kill yourself to make room) That way, if your opponent is running nons, have fun with him. If not, you don t waste the deck space. Either way, it s a fun card.

Expanded: 3/5 (DYJHT is better)

Focused: 4.5/5 (Uh, lack of non removal and punishing decks for running nons =/ Me likes)

Sealed: 5/5 (Usually, peeps will pull a non or two and run them in. You can kill it. It s also a nice beefy energy for 11 and costing 3, so have fun with it)
