~Surllio~ Eldar Kai Lvl 1
GT Uncommon #128
Hero Personality

Talk about almost any deck will embrace. From physical, to energy, to ally decks, this guy is on the tops of those list.

Powering ANY personality all the way up allows for a lot of things. Physical Beatdown will like the extra damage and physical soak, Energy Beatdown will enjoy the continued string of energies, and ally decks will just enjoy the addition physical soak.

Oh yeah, his power also discards two cards off your opponents life deck. That can cause some havoc when you get into the top decking, disruption of all sorts of nice little set ups and everything else.

This guy is a powerful character for just about any deck, and compliments energy decks heavily with the resurgence of the energy attacks.

A very good ally

Focused: 4.5 of 5
Expanded: 4.5 of 5
Sealed: 4.0 of 5 (if you pull a hero, great)

Elder Kai Level 1 GT

Now this, we like. Powering up to full is handy, powering up to full and doing damage to your opponent is even better. Oddly, as an ally, he does not work in ally decks, as his power runs counter to what ally decks want to to (drain to zero, play tag-team), but I think, at least in Focused, he works fairly well in beatdown decks. One problem I have run into, is that after using his power, he is still in control of combat, so any PAT damage will use his unimpressive stages, and that can hurt if your opponent is in the higher tier of the chart.

Solid in all three, Focused, Expanded, and Limited, because he does the same things in all.

Expanded 3.5/5

Focused 3.5/5

Limited 4/5 (powering up to full is HUGE in sealed)
