Energy Combat

Power: Energy attack doing 8 life cards of damage. Lower opponent's anger 3 levels. Limit 1 per deck. Remove from game after use.

I move in to college today… so if you don’t hear from me for a little while… it is because I’m trying to get used to this strange new life I’m going to have.

Anyway, back in the day this card was pretty much a staple. There wasn’t anything that did this much damage, and the lower 3 anger was unheard of. This is still widely played today for the sheer fact of the anti-anger. The big attack only helps out dish out the damage, even though cards like Goku’s Blinding Strike has taken its place. There’s really no downside to this big attack besides you can only have one and it is removed.

So if you want some good advice and are running an energy deck that needs some anti-anger, run Good Advice. It is pretty good advice if you ask me.

Namekian energy runs it to Namekian Strike for. Orange can run it to Uppercut for. Freestyle energy decks that need some anti-anger could use it. There are just a lot of energy decks out there that can use a utility card like this; it pretty much can take a DB, mess up an anger deck’s current situation to nil, and deal a lot of damage regardless. Big attack that is so easy to get.

Standard: 3.8 out of 5.0 (used mainly for the anti-anger and the big attack that can steal a DB)

Tuff Enuff: 3.6 out of 5.0 (biggest key is it is at times the only card that can overkill in many decks)

Sealed: 5.0 out of 5.0 (there’s no reason not to run this if you pull it unless you already have one) ~matthewlow

Good Advice, Preview 4 from Frieza Saga

Power: Enery attack doing 8 life cards of damage. Lower opponent's anger 3 levels. Limit 1 per deck. Remove from game after use.

This card is pretty good, there are not too many energy attacks that can deal 8 life, and there aren't too many cards that lower anger by 3; but this card does both. I can remember back when Frieza Saga first came out, this card was huge. It was the first really good energy attack, I think it was the first to go over 6 life cards, and one of the only cards that lowered anger by a considerable amount. Not much else to say, except this card is good!

Ratings:

Standard - 3.8

Tuff Enuff - 3.7

Sealed Deck - 3.9 (there are usually way more physical blocks, plus the -3 anger could really help)

Good Advice - Frieza Saga

An uncommon that should have been a rare :/ Good advice is a nice big energy attack for 8 life cards and it lowers your opponents anger 3 levels. Its a nice card that can be added in any deck. Its anti-anger and a huge energy attack to boot.  Hmm i guess thats it. It doesnt do anything else -.-

Rating 3.5
