Piccolo Earth’s Protector – Cell Saga
Starter - #194
|Personality HT

Power: Place the top card from your discard pile at the bottom of your Life Deck. Draw a card.

Good thing you can say it doesn’t deal you a life card of damage. Decent level 3, seeing card advantage is always good.

You can argue amongst this and the Former Guardian Level 3. Both are decent, and this one can get an amazing top deck, while an energy for 8 is pretty good I hear.

Biggest thing is the draw a card and getting something good. It works in Piccolo physical and anger as well, and thus it is a very all around level 3. Only problem is you probably should be looking for something a bit stronger once you hit there, seeing it isn’t easy getting there. Multiple Aura Clashes or a ton of anger… not easy, and I wouldn’t be trying too hard to make it up here.

Not a bad level though, but if you drew two cards, I’d like it much more.

Standard: 2.8 out of 5.0 (card advantage)

Tuff Enuff: 2.9 out of 5.0 (AYTE occurs)

Sealed: 3.3 out of 5.0 (you’ll usually win once you get here) ~matthewlow

Piccolo, The Earth's Protector #194 Hi-Tech from Cell Saga

Power: Place the top card from your discard pile at the bottom of your Life
Deck. Draw a card.

I like this power quite a bit. You get to regenerate 1 card, while setting
up your mastery, if use Namekian from World Games Saga, and you get to draw a card, which is always good. Plus with this power you won't draw yourself out like some other powers because of the regeneration that goes along with it. His power level isn't that bad, almost everyone's power level went down after buu saga and fusion saga (except Majin Buu and fused personalities). Anyway, great level 3 for piccolo, and just in general; there may be better level 3's out there, but not too many of them go along with masteries like this one does with Namekian.

Ratings:

Standard - 3.6

Tuff Enuff - 3.8

Sealed Deck - 3.5 (If you get to this level in sealed deck and didn't
already win, this power is pretty good anyway)
