Goku Earth’s Hero Level 3 HT – Cell Saga
Starter - #191
Personality

Power: When entering Combat, draw a card and show it to your opponent. If it is a Physical or Energy Combat card, your opponent discards 3 cards from the top of his Life Deck.

This level 3 is really solid, and the only level 3s that Goku has that you could consider running otherwise are the TS (anger maybe) and CS/MBS (if you rather have an attack like infinite Goku).

This one has the ability to deal extra damage, which is generally a good thing seeing they are discards. The thing is you do show your opponent, which can thwart strategy, but then again when what card advantage a bad thing?

Card advantage and direct damage… don’t get too much better than that! Card advantage helps in pretty much all archtypes. You could run this over the TS for anger and easily do just as well. This one is used in nearly all Goku archtypes, seeing how multipurpose Goku is with all his card advantage personalities.

Try this level out. I would generally run this in all Goku decks pretty much if you can’t decide because card advantage is just that good.

Standard: 4.5 out of 5.0 (card advantage good)

Tuff Enuff: 4.6 out of 5.0 (ditto)

Sealed: 4.6 out of 5.0 (you’ll probably win if you get here anyway) ~matthewlow

Goku Earth's Hero Lv. 3 HT

One nice power. You get to draw an extra card when entering combat and if its a physical or energy combat card they discard the top 3 cards of their deck. This is usually the ideal stage to be at in tuff enuff. If its goku saiyan that is. You draw one for the mastery, then you draw another with his card effect. Then Goku's Physical Attack and Goku's Training can draw you even more cards from the bottom of your discard pile. You can take out opponents with a chain of attacks like that. It does suck that the new chart makes this goku kinda weaker but oh well. He's still pretty strong.

Goku, Earth's Hero Level 3 #191 from Cell Saga

Power: When entering Combat, draw a card and show it to your opponent. If it is a Physical or Energy Combat card, your opponent discards 3 cards from the top of his Life Deck.

In the 3 level Saiyan Goku decks that were popular a little while ago, this was the level 3 of choice. Not only do you get another card, and when entering combat so it doesn't take a phase, but you also have the chance to discard 3 life of your opponents deck every time when entering combat. I can really only think of one downside to this card, and that is that you always have to show your opponent the card, so even if the card you draw ends up being a combat card or something, you still have to show it to your opponent. But hey, who cares if your opponent sees it, an extra card is always good.

Lookee here, another level of Goku that allows one to draw a card! Surprise! Anyway, I like drawing cards, especially when your opponent cannot do the same. Oh, look, it's WEC. You have to love the PTT errata if you are using this card, you can use this 100% of the time. And just for fun, if it's Physical or Energy Combat, your opponent discards the top 3 cards of their deck. I suppose there's at least a 50% chance of that happening because most decks run around 40 total of each of those in my experience. Not bad, not bad.
